"I've been getting emails from the billing department saying that I have a past due bill, but I don't. It's probably a false alarm, but a big concern to me. I haven't been in USA Vein Clinic since July. I called the billing department and they would connect me to a billing expert, but they been sending me from one operator to another if they don't want to discuss the situation. I was supposed to be at the usa Vein clinics in oakbrook back in late October for ultrasounds on my legs, but canceled due to personal reasons."

"I used to go to Vein Clinics of America. Since they switched over to USA Vein, it is awful. All of the staff but one or two left. You can no longer call the office as you have to speak to someone in another country to get information. They call multiple times every day for appointments, billing, or any other contact method with multiple different people calling minutes apart. Their website doesn't work to pay bills, which have increase significantly. I will not be returning here again, and I used to be so happy with it before the switch. Find Dr. Kern in Geneva if you can."

"I normally don't write negative reviews however, I felt like something should be said. Since Vein Clinics was transitioned to USA Vein Clinics, I cannot speak to anyone who can help out in regards to a bill. I received a bill from 9/26/22 for an amount that wasn't billed to my insurance. I have called to speak to someone and kept getting disconnected or someone could not help out. I'm not sure why this bill is coming through a year later to me. I called my insurance and they actually did pay for the entire procedure. There is definitely a disconnect. No one is able to help. In addition, I had a cosmetic procedure done that didn't resolve any of the spider veins. This was recommended to be done after all of the other procedures were done. It's really unfortunate that a patient is not valued and listened to."

"I ended up deciding not to get treatment here because no one seemed to know what was happening. I was getting a major run around regarding billing and insurance. The ultrasound was rushed. I was told I could schedule an appt To have the treatment done, but no one explained how to prepare, or what to expect afterwards. I was just told to anticipate bruising. (Well, yeah if I didn’t know not to take anticoagulants prior to the treatment) I received multiple confirmation calls ( three in one morning) from different ppl. Each person was unaware that I had already been called and confirmed. Anytime you call, you get a call center and not everyone communicates clearly. Between people in the office and the call center, it was as though they lacked a designated chain of operations so that things worked cohesively. It was beyond off putting and frustrating. When the recording says “ offers discounts for patients without insurance..” I asked one of the ladies from the call center and she insisted there are no discounts. It was a string of red flags. They also told me I had some advanced vein disease, but that I most likely wouldn’t qualify for ultrasound guided injections because it wasn’t “ bad enough” , but they were gung-ho to have me pay the $400 out of pocket ( in addition to the $200 consultations). The P.A. That referred me to the dr at a separate location to have the procedure, had no knowledge about this Dr, and had never met him. After researching online, he’s apparently been in practice for 20+ years, yet he only has 8 reviews. One of the reviews stated that two years after having had the procedure, this woman’s legs were bruised and painful and that they looked better before she’d seen the dr. Trusting my gut and going elsewhere. P.s. this clinic was bought out about a year ago and that’s apparently when it went downhill. Jose from billing gets 10/10 in helping me. BY FAR THE MOST KNOWLEDGEABLE PERSON EMPLOYED BY THIS COMPANY.( At least that I met) Lastly, the vibes sucked."

"The staff was amazing, especially the PA, she was very friendly and knowledgeable. They took the time to make sure I understood everything that we were going to work on. I was very apprehensive about the procedures, but I walked out feeling confident that I knew what was going to take place when I returned. Overall, great experience. If I had a negative, it would be that I didn't meet the doctor. It would have been nice to get a feel for him before we get started."
