"Scammers. Profit over patient care. AND BILLING FRAUD. I was billed for a more costly Tele-health visit when in fact I was there in person for acute sinusitis. Dispute is pending. (Note that this has nothing to do with Walgreens) Though knowing my own medical history at 57 years old better than a doctor, I was still prescribed a weaker antibiotic by the attending physician despite my request for two other stronger remedies that have proven to work for me. As a result, my sinus infection persisted after 10 days of taking their prescribed weaker medication. I complained and the Advocate nurse then insisted on my paying for a second visit for the exact same condition before they'd ever consider a stronger antibiotic per my request. I then sent an email to my normal GP doctor and was prescribed the Biaxin I requested without having to pay for another appointment for the same condition. I don't get sick day pay. Never again. Use a GP doctor who is not profit-driven like Advocate."

"Went in for an eye inflammation. The nurse practitioner decided on his own to treat something that is being monitored by my primary care physician and nephrologist. The nurse practitioner never addressed my eye inflammation. When I asked what should I do about my eye, the practitioner answered “I sent your prescription to___! What else do you want me to do?” He gave me my paperwork. When I reviewed the paperwork, I found it was information I did not ask for. I had to go back in and get the correct information. I proceeded to tell this practitioner that he should listen to what people are telling him what’s wrong and address those issues. All I got was thank you and was dismissed. I called and filed a complaint. The manager was very nice and sympathetic. She arranged for the nurse to call me. A triage nurse called me and was absolutely no help. I am now waiting for my pcp to call me"

"I had a great experience using the walk in Clinic for assessment of a cold. Dr Diana was very friendly and helpful, she diagnosed me and made sensible recommendations. I was in and out in 15 minutes. This definitely beats trying to see my primary care doctor at NorthShore."

"I saw Julie Goeorge, ANP today. The stuff was very friendly and greeted me with a smile. Julie was great! She asked me about my symptoms and explained me how to get better, explained me why I was feeling the way I was. She took her time and exam me. I was very satisfied with her service today. I was impressed that I left the office with a new information about my health. Thank you, Julie!"
