"Our 8 year old started karate here after spring break as a beginner. We did a few trial classes at first at no cost which was very helpful in deciding if it was right for our family. After the first class, the kiddo was feeling it. He had a lot of fun and we signed up. The class was big at first but then there was a belt test and a lot of the kids moved to a different class time. But even when there was a big class, the instructors (all of them- maybe 6 adults and 4/5 older teens) learned each kids’ name. There are kids in class who require a little more one on one coaching and they accommodate with so much patience and encouragement. All the instructors are kind and great role models. My kid has learned so much in just a few months. I’m super impressed with how quickly he’s caught on to it. In addition to all those positive things, it is super affordable! We have 3 kids all doing different activities and were really excited to find an affordable karate program. They also have some adult classes and have a really good family discount on classes. I can’t recommend this place enough."
