"I wish I could give a good review but this is the second time that I was sent to the hospital for no reson or missdiagnosis , this last time I was sent in a ambulance. They told me I was haveing a heart attack, the doctor did a blood test and said my d-dimmer was 4.5, but I'm 61 years old and acording to the doctor in the ER at 61 my number can be as high as 6.0. I had rsv and that was the only problem. The time before that they didnt have the equipment so they sent me to the ER, and again nothing found except a large hospital bill, I think this will be my last time I go to edwards-elmhurst immediate care."

"Beyond horrible service this time here. The nurse was rude and didnt want to do test even though she asked if i wanted to. She talked super fast and rushed out everytime. They also gossip and make fun of other patients...my room was right in front of there desk and they just kept whispering about stuff not related to that patients illness. They need a whole staff. Update..they said i didnt have covid at this location. Went somewhere else and tested positive for covid aswell as my family."

"I want to start this off with the only reason I’m giving two stars is I have been here before and received decent care. I went to Edward Thursday night with severe throat pain and congestion. The front desk and initial nurse who checked me were both kind and had a very receptive and empathetic attitude. I should also bring up I went in at 6:40pm, and while I was in the waiting room, three people left, and no one else came in (giving me the perception I may be the only person left or maybe one other person there at that time). When the NP came into the room she immediately started to talk down to me telling me there was nothing she could do and it was just a viral infection. I tried telling her this was the worst pain in my throat I had felt in a long time and that it hurt to swallow (which on my notes that I read today, it states I denied any pain swallowing?? That was something I immediately had brought up when she entered the room!) She basically told me to take cough drops, drink lots of fluids, allergy medicine- which I already take- and a couple other things. NOTHING helpful. Everything I already had been doing since the beginning of that week other than the cough drops which I tried to tell her. She was not receptive of anything nor empathetic. Her response was well she had a viral infection and she’s on week 8 of coughing so I just have to wait it out. Finally she asked if I had mychart and after I said yes she said okay you’re good to go then, opened the door and basically shooed me away, I began to say something else to her to which she cut me off to tell me where the door is then walked away. Her whole demeanor just seemed like she didn’t care and was rushing to get me out of there. I had (and still do) a very clouded brain due to everything going on so I didn’t even process the interaction till in my car where I just cried the whole way home since it felt like such a waste of a trip and I was offered no help to how I was feeling. The whole interaction with the NP took less than 5 minutes. I ended up going to another NP who was amazing and very empathetic and everything the first NP was not. She gave me helpful advice and a prescription to help me feel better which has been helping. Wish I had this experience the first time rather than being made to feel not important and rushed through."

"I’ve had nothing but horrible experiences at this location. The nurses and doctors are condescending and outright rude. My first visit, I was concerned I had a piece of a needle in my abdomen from injecting a medication of mine. The needle had snapped out of my skin due to the spring malfunctioning. They took me in for an x-ray after an hour of waiting in a room, it was not busy. They asked me to stand in a certain position, and I had to grab onto a part of the machine to stabilize myself. The tech told me to remove my hand, and I told her my scoliosis wouldn’t allow me to stand this way without support. She took the x-ray anyways and had to do it again because I could not hold my body in that position. There was no needle in me, thank god. But I’d rather be safe than sorry. I have social anxiety and felt super embarrassed at that point and really wanted to get discharged asap. Well, I went there the other day asking for the anti-viral to lessen my Covid symptoms. They had one doctor and one nurse come in to the room and explain to me that I had a chance of getting Covid 2 weeks later so there’s no point in giving me the anti-viral. Why wasn’t I informed of that before I paid $200 out of pocket? The nurse was writing things down every time I spoke. I told the doctor that my mother had suggested the anti viral and he told me “you’re an adult and you can make your own decisions”. When the doctor left, the nurse made another comment that I needed to make my own decisions. Really? At this point I was sure that they had labeled me a mentally ill basket case. Nothing but rude and condescending. I was not drug seeking, just two flukes, and I happen to have some mental health conditions that make visiting the doctor stressful unless it’s my primary care physician. I’m utterly disappointed, I have family members who work for Linden Oaks and they were appalled by the behavior going on here. These doctors and nurses need to learn empathy."

"Front desk and nurses were sweet and everyone friendly, however, 2 days ago I took my 3 year old to be checked for ear infection and sore throat/fever. the PA we saw said she is fine just congested. Took her to physicians immediate care today and has strep and ear infection. I feel like the PA just rushed us out."
