"Great service at the site, Front office is amazing people and I loved living there. However, I experienced terrible service after I moved out. I use 3 banks and none of them will accept the check they mailed me for my deposit. The font for the routing and account balance is unreadable. The accounts receivable was zero help and refused to refund me another way or print another return check. I am now out $500+ because of Barker Apartments' refusal to work with me. If you live here, don't expect help after you move out with your deposit."

"I lived at Deer Valley for 4 years. The apartments were clean, staff was very friendly, and maintenance was prompt when there were any issues. Everything was very professional. The apartments are still pretty new, and they're in a great location for any grocery shopping. Tenants were all pretty respectful, and I rarely heard sounds after evening hours, but everyone's mileage will vary there. My only minor complaint was that the windows on my unit leaked air more than I would have wanted, but it was a west facing wall. Maintenance did their best each year to help keep the cold out in the winter. In the end it didn't dramatically impact my opinion of the apartments, and I'm very thankful I lived there!"

"Deer Valley Apartments is the best place to stay in Moline/Silvis it is calm, clean and well maintained community. Clean, cozy and beautiful houses. Jeff is the best person I have met. He is very humble and cooperative. He helped so much throughout my move in procedure. Thank you jeff and thank you Barker Apartments Management."

"The ground floor apartment itself was fine. We lived there for six years until we bought a home. It was Fairly clean when we moved in except for the blind cords being tied together in each of the windows and a rag in the garbage disposal. (We left the apartment cleaner.) All of the appliances worked. The freezer in the refrigerator rattled loudly constantly every time the refrigerator kicked on. Maintenance would tighten a nut in the freezer and it would be fine for a short while until it rattled loose again. Finally, we began to tighten the nut ourselves when needed. Three times the kitchen floor flooded from the over flow pipe, next to the furnace, that was plugged up from the upper apartments. Plus, the apartment complex did not have any out door area for relaxation or activities Then every year the rent increased. The office personel were fine. The scheduled inspections went well. Over all, it was pleasant enough living there."

"I lived for a year and and a half in one one-bedroom unit at the Deer Valley Apartments. My experience was as close as perfect as it could have been. First, the apartments are fairly new, so appliances, lights, etc all worked well. When there would be a problem, service personnel would promptly fix it. Moreover, I am very grateful that they are very professional in any interaction. I am particularly grateful with Jeff, who made everything possible for me to have a good experience from the time I joined, through my stay, and then later when I left the apartment, yet they agreed to extend the rental of the garage a bit longer to keep my belongings. Overall is a great place to be, with kind neighbors, and close to most of the amenities that you may need. Note, I move around using my bicycle, and I found this place well located for my lifestyle. I would go back if I returned to the QC."
