The Wood Den is a unique institution located at 2 North 6th Street in Festus, Missouri, United States. As a general contractor and store, we specialize in using a variety of tools from chisels to chainsaws to bring your creative ideas to life. Whether you're looking for indoor or outdoor furniture made from slabs and logs, or need a tree stump carved in your yard in the St. Louis area, we've got you covered.
During a tour of our store, you'll see the operation in action and the beautiful items we produce here at The Wood Den. Our Barn Beams date back to a barn built in 1847 in Longview, Illinois, while our Barnwood comes from various sources for your DIY projects. We also cut our own slabs from local species with our sawmill, so you can grab a slab for your own project.
Every Fall, we have the privilege of carving for the AB Brewery's Christmas Lights show, and we also create dog sculptures for Tito's Vodka, a dog-friendly company, to be displayed in stores and homes across the U.S. From logs to finished products, everything happens right here at The Wood Den.
We're excited to introduce our new product for contractors and DIY homeowners - pre-engineered panels with slices or other treatments that can be easily hung in place. Come visit us for a peek and a tour of our creative process!
