Dr. Daniella Rodriguez-Rico

"I love the staff, the nurses and clerks they are so nice, respectful, always going out of their way to make my daughter and son laugh, which we appreciate. The MD is another story, she is very dry, inpatient, I don’t think she knows how to treat certain conditions bc I’m an CRNA myself. I believe that working in the healthcare industry has drained her passion for this career. Word of advise to her is if she doesn’t want to work with kids anymore for her to change departments to adults or simple change her career path."

"Front staff is polite but wait time is LONG and Dr. Rico is kind of dry. Also, she’s not too patient with babies. For the 12 month and 18 month checkup I was there a total of 2 hours. My 1 year old was scared so obviously crying. Dr. Rico said “you can start doing timeout” (This was at her 1 year old visit) Also, she doesn’t wear gloves to examine girls area and stomach. At the 2year old appt my daughter was on my lap very quiet and sleepy so she was giving no trouble and in spite of her good behavior Dr. Rico asked How is she doing with her tantrums? Not quite yell there yet? Also, I told her my daughter would wake up crying scratching her arms . Her solution: Put her lotion Seriously!!! I will be changing pediatrician."

"After reading reviews I was hoping for a great pediatrician. Staff is very nice, calm and happy. Took my 4 year old daughter for a referral and for vaccination. My daughter has very short hair and when the doctor walked in greeted my child with : "hey lil guy how are you?" and my daughter told her she was a girl. At this point the doctor asked my daughter: "Tell me are you a boy or a girl?" Then my daughter told her that she had already said she was a girl. I didnt say anything because I needed a referral. I would think that a doctor before walking into a room reads the name on the chart of the patient. I will add that my daughter DOES NOT NEED AN ENDOCRINOLOGIST and that was something the pediatrician suggested and worried me so I expected to have the referrals the next day. I called and the lady in charge of making the referrals said that she would have those ready the next day. I waited couple of days for the referral which I never got and had to go back to my family doctor. My daughter did not need to see an endocrinologist. My personal experience with this pediatrician was not pleasant and that's why I give this office a 1 star. Also it took about 2 hours to see this doctor."

"Dr Rico is a wonderful pediatrician. My two daughters ages 11 and 15 feel so at ease with Dr Rico. She takes time to talk and listen to my parental concerns and always explains everything to me. I never have to wait long to see her. Her staff is super friendly too. My family and I absolutely love her. I highly recommend her to all parents who would like a pediatrician their children can grow with."

"Dr Daniella Rico has been seeing both of my children since they were small and they absolutely love her . She goes above and beyond for her patients and is always available if there is any questions or concerns she makes sure to address them. The staff is always polite and professional and there always keeping me informed of any changes which is so helpful . Wait time is also never a issue I sit in the waiting area 5 mins tops if anything I highly recommend her to everyone!"
