"I brought my Mom to MCC after being hospitalized when she needed physical rehab. Everyone who works here is so incredibly friendly, caring and gracious. They are so accommodating and the staff will bend over backwards for your loved ones. I would never hesitate to bring a loved one here for care!"

"I have worked here for 14 years and it is a very wonderful place to work at. The staff is friendly and the residents are very happy and well cared for. It gives you a wonderful feeling when they are so happy to see you walk through the door and great you with a big smile. I would personally recommend sending your loved one here for their new forever home or just for a short rehab stay. Not only are they your family, but they become ours as well. Love to all."

"I am truly disappointed on the intake process of this facility. My father unfortunately was found unresponsive a couple months ago due to a massive GI bleed. Due to the trauma on his body and brain being deprived of oxygen he experienced a common disorder called icu delirium and goes away with time. When discharged my father was sent to a rehab facility and due to immobility concerns needed a long term care. We called this facility and was denied due to a medication he was taking for the delirium. Mind you my fathers mind is clear he is able to make financial decisions, and using his laptop computer and cellphone. This facility only cares about money and nothing about patient care. We chose this facility because it has a lot to offer but to be denied over one medication is insanity. They also claim they offer memory care services for patients with Alzheimer's and dementia. If you were to ever look into there medication history you will find the pages of medications for mental health and mood stabilizers. Don't go here they really don't care about helping our community."

"Hello my name is Tracy Wharton and I am not one to post reviews of any business or facility ever, but I'm extremely applaud by the way I've witnessed very dedicated employees being treated by higher authority at Maquoketa Care. Especially during such a time in all our lives when we should be praising the people who show up at work just to take care of many clients that reside here. To witness a very dedicated employee after 5 years put her two weeks notice in because of issues with management really hit me the wrong way. I believe something should be addressed, and this issue should not just be swept under the rug. I'm not going to go into all other incidents in the past other very worthy employees had to go thru, I'm just going to pray and have faith this kind of treatment stops."

"My husband was a resident at Maquoketa Care for 16 months suffering from Parkinsons and Dementia. The staff was so kind to him even though he was difficult at times. He had excellent care and I cant' say enough good things about our experience . I give them a 5 star rating."
