"Not a fan! Loved our provider, Vicki Hansen, but the office staff leaves a lot to be desired. Not friendly over the phone. Spoke to them several times prior to my appt. only to be rebuffed and made to feel like I was doing something wrong. Did not get a warm and fuzzy feeling from them at all! As a new patient, this was a total turn off! They need to have someone else answering their calls!"

"We had a heck of a time getting the paperwork done to get my son seen. It took two months. But now that we are patients I enjoy the practice. I think we’ve seen all the PAs and both doctors. I like them all."

"Dr Waller treated me horribly. I’ve had a bad pain condition for 2 years, I am started to lose control of my bowels, throat, and becoming weak in general. Drs in Iowa city diagnosed me with Syngromyelia but doctor Waller didn’t even know what that was, and even after 4 months of him being my primary doctor, he wouldn’t even look it up. When I confronted him about this and told him if he was going to be my doctor he should do his job, He kicked me out, and banned me from the office. The receptionists were all rude and mean when I left and the nurses didn’t call me with any blood results. When I called back they just tried to get off of the phone. HORRIBLE PLACE to get actually find out what’s wrong with you, these people just want to be praised while not having to work hard. They are only interested in the most BASIC healthcare, not even willing to refer people who have complicated conditions. HORRIBLE PLACE TO GET TREATED 0 stars"

"First of all, I’d like to say that the staff is outstanding ; but due to poor policies and a horrid administrator, we left ... If you can’t talk to the administrator of the facility, without being hung up on, it’s time to go elsewhere for healthcare ! I called simply to get an explanation of services regarding office visits, and I wasn’t even able to be heard; instead I was hung up on while I was asking the questions ... They take your money, they take your co-pay, they take your premiums, and apparently you’re not supposed to be able to ask ANY questions of your healthcare providers?!. I’m posting this so that I hope nobody else has to go through this...I also want you all to know that they are not part of the Genesis network, they are an independent standalone facility, some of the physicians have privileges at the hospital, that’s it! I, personally, had 6 doctor visits in 2 weeks and they couldn’t even sign a general physical form for my work ... our only recourse is to take our money and our health somewhere else ! It’s a sad day in America when the problem with healthcare trickles all the way down to independent small town facilities Taking advantage of good insurance and the people who pay premiums & CO-pays! "If you need a bandaid this is the place to go, if anything more than a paper cut or stubbed toe you best head somewhere else. Extremely kind and professional staff but services are next to 3rd world. Have had over 40 years experience with this clinic and have seen nothing but a steady decline in service and care over the past few years. If you're in any kind of pain expect to have to sit it out without any reliefs. They're motto is we're not going to put a pill on it. If you have any kind of deficiency or imbalance involving chemical or hormone, no help. If currently being treated but have moved to the area you may want to travel the extra miles to go back to your original doctor. This clinic will stop all treatments and tell you that you are fine, destroying, in some cases, years of progress. I will not even begin with the number of misdiagnosis, some of which were too late when help was sought elsewhere. If anything more than the sniffles expect to be referred out to a specialist. All in all a nice place to visit for very minor situations, but can no longer trust or recommend this clinic to anyone. In my opinion it looks more like the head doctor, Bybee, is just trying to hold out for retirement without investing any more effort than absolutely needed to keep the doors open."
