"The vet is great. I had to put two dogs down . My leopard attacked my puppy, which was a poodle. Just 6 months old. Office employees were great to get us in for an appointment. So, the last dog at home, Jaydan, is their patient."

"This is the worst vet I’ve been to in my entire life. Just moved to the area and came here because of the positive reviews. Boy was I disappointed. Judging by the surroundings of this vet it looks like it needs to be shut down. There’s a pile of trash in front of the building. The inside looks like it hasn’t been renovated or looked after in years. Brought my dog for a check up and meds. Not only will they perfrom unnecessary tests but they won’t listen to you as the dog owners. If you’re willing to spend money for nothing, this is the place for you. If you want a good vet I’d highly recommend looking for someone else. I will definitely never come back here again. One star so I can post this. This place deserves zero."

"My dog had to be put down at a different vet. But it took me a while to realize I was scammed by this vet office. I spent over $600 from my dog on health issues here because she was an older doggy. $130 being for "draining" fluids. I had got a phone call while at work that she didn't need to be drained and that it was her weight. Even though I felt it was impossible for her to balloon in weight in such a short period of time. I have pics to show. They assured me the $130 would be applied to the medical balance. But I had already paid the total balance. I never got anything after repeated calls. Even a couple months later just wanting her x-rays I never got them in email as promised on multiple occasions by phone and me going up there. It was received when the other vet requested them. Turned out the good vet confirmed it was fluids and she had infections resulting. I'd never take my animals to this vet in New Caney."

"I called and got an appointment right away. I wasn't even at the counter completely when they got my fur baby and took him in the back. Unfortunately, it was an emergency situation, but they were incredible. I was well informed throughout the entire process. They gave me options on his treatment. They even called me to check up on him. I am beyond grateful. I would highly recommend to anyone."

"We are more than impressed with Big Thicket Veterinary Clinic in New Caney. Our first experience was with our one year old boy cat who had blisters on his face and our regular vet couldn't see him for 2 weeks! Big Thicket got him in same day!!! Now both our boys go there and just had their yearly and shots. We LOVE Samantha Priestle (VET) and Savannah was our main tech, she and her co-workers we also amazing! They treated our boys like princes and even put adorable boy ties on them! It feels like we are treated like family! Cannot say enough good things, thank you! Now we will be bringing our dogs too!"
