"We were rushed out Of there after big head Todd and the monsters so fast after being told we could be there till 10pm it was 15 below zero and we were from out of town waiting for a cab. My husband is type 1 diabetic and we are both 50 plus years old! 2 people my husband talked to said we could until 10 so that’s when we told our cab to come. I tried to explain this to some VERY ANGRY AHOLE AROUND 50 it 60 WHO LOOKED LIKE A MEATHEAD GOT INTO MY FAVE SCREAMING AT ME TO GET OUT!!!! I am actually horrified to even try to attend another show there!!!!"

"Theater: The theater is gorgeous, brand new, bright and artistic and clean. Beautiful! Sound from the concert is great but a bit too loud that we couldn't understand the bands. The volume could be turned down a notch or two and it would still be awesome. Temperatures were a bit too warm and the place was not even filled. The theater could save on their utility bill by turning down the heat a few degrees. We will all still drink. Seats are uncomfortable, tight and small and narrow. And not many handrails to go up and down. Had to stand alot.. guess it was good then there is general admission standing area for sure. The seats rows are not numbered correctly or not easy to find your seats that you pay for online. Staff did not seem to know either. Purchasing tickets: For my first time to buy for this venue is strictly thru an online app. only as expected. We Had a choice to buy printed tickets at $6 each more to pick up 2 hours before the concert but we did not pay for printed tickets decided to use the phone app....Was not thrilled when we arrived to the venue and I had paid $10 each extra for each seat to arrive and be told the whole concert was open to general admission. Misleading. Libations: There was only one small bar to purchase a limited selection of drinks that were all warm, not cold drinks. the entire concert, and $8 a tall boy. Staff: The theater staff were all very nice and professional. Parking: It's downtown Davenport...that's all I have to say. Take extra time to find parking or a parking garage to pay for parking. Concert Performance: Advertised that the doors opened at 6pm, concert (the opening bad) starts at 7pm. However, there was an opening bad for the opening band which lead to the band we came to see Not play until 9:40pm. Was not thrilled to be there that long waiting for the main band. Would have wanted to know TWO opening bands before...as we would not have been there that early...we almost walked out. I'm sure they have some adjustments to make as this may be one of the first concerts since they have had since they opened the theater. We will return and try this venue again one more time as we have some of these things noted and see how it goes."

"A really nice venue, they have built it back enough to look nice. Sound was good the night we were there, but they need spot lights. Beverage prices we not out of line, but we’re a bit on high side."

"Great venue to be able to get up close and personal with your favorite bands! Sound is good and you can get right up against the stage or sit back in the seats if you're not one to dance. Easy to access drink bars, bathrooms and merch booths!"

"Newly renovated, clean and a simply stunning building inside. We saw Blackberry Smoke there and the acoustics were amazing. The staff was very helpful. I would definitely see another concert at the Capital Theater!"
