Council Court Motel

"This so-called motel is the WORST one I've ever seen, the shower water smelled like sulfur and the shower head was bad. The heater didn't work there were bare wires hanging from the light and the outlets by the bed didn't work. This motel is one step away from being homeless. I'm surprised that the board of health hasn't shut them down"

"It's dirty and the people are rude and its nasty , there is bugs and spiders and the water smell's bad and the Refrigerator dont work at all i ask for a new one and they told me you gotta deal with that its not my problem . i do not recommend coming here ."

"I was visiting with an friend of mine n his wife. From past visits there nothing has changed. It's full of bed bugs. The electric needs to be replaced n rewired. There's extension cords running from here to there. If U're using multiple things the power goes out. I had to throw away all of the clothes that I had on in order for Me to not carry the Bed Bugs elsewhere with Me once I left there."

"Unclean the refrigerator door fell off...water is well water that smells horrible and is discolored. The price is below average to accommodate the below average service and accommodations. Very loud bust highways right outside the door. People in and out all night."

"The photos here are wrong motel. I wish i had gotten a room at the one in photo or any other motel in the world besides the council court. I spent exactly five minutes in room 22. After paying for the room, the owner pointed across the parking lot to my room. There was an older gentleman sitting outside his room but i could not tell if he was alive or not until he gave me a nod finally as i walked to my room. i opened the door and could not believe what I was seeing. There was a very low bed in the room and nightstand covered in grease and leftover food spills. the walls were multi colored. i assume the smokey beige was the original paint color but it had been streaked with white , yellows , red (obviously blood) and a dark brown that i care not analyze. I told myself over and over that i could do this . i already paid. i went into the bathroom to see a horrible , horrible assembly of what used to be a white porcelain sink and shower floor . the shower was the open pipe coming out of the wall and this shower has never , ever been cleaned. I swear! I began to gag at which point i grabbed my bag , opened the door and marched to the office. I told the man I could not stay in a room like that and wanted my money back. He offered another room but I refused . I just wanted out of there now!he refused to refund me so i just left. my bank fought with him but eventually i got stick with it because i signed the contract. ugh. I traveled down the road to the us 30 motel where i told the owner my horror story. He gave me nice discount and i stayed there and would recommend it anytime, Do hotels not have to pass some sort of inspection > Restaurants and hair salons do. How is it that a motel like council court remain in business with such horrific conditions.. Is the pubic not entitled to some sort of health code regulations when we opt to lounge, sleep, bathe in a commercial setting? If there is a code, it is not being enforced for the council court house of horrors."
