"The staff behind the counters were so disrespectful, our tub was never cleaned and there were bugs everywhere I got bit 6x. My husband and I went to complain and asked for cleaning supplies so we could clean they told us no. So I said u could at least upgrade us to a different room or give us a discount on our room. They said no and asked us to leave called us liars and all. This place is so horrible and the staff is beyond the worst customer service ever. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME."
"I called and cancelled my reservation a week before my check in time. They said I would get my full refund. It still came off my debit card. Manager was unprofessional on the phone. Told me I was banned from his hotel."
"Great location behind Colonial and across from Southern Cafés which are both great for breakfast and brunch! Friends were in town so we spent 3 hrs here playing board games and 10/10 would not pay to stay here. Lobby smelled like weed, no one at the desk, very dated, floor was uneven, room looked clean enough except the bug in the bathroom, but the kicker was the migraine I left with because of the mold smell blowing from the AC unit. Parking lot was awful. Upside they had a tiny pool but this place is definitely not St. Charles finest."
"I would be happy to share a more updated review (though I suspect it won't be any more glowing than this one) when I actually get to this location and check in. However, I woke up this morning to find my bank card has been charged the full amount of my stay - and I'm not even in the state of Illinois yet. In fact, I used Expedia for this booking and it clearly states on my itinerary and my receipt I may pay at the property at check-in. Furthermore, I have been calling for an hour and am unable to get through getting a pre-recorded message that says 'your party is unavailable because they are busy'. Busy charging people's credit cards I'd guess..."
