Gray Plaza Motel Benton

"The first thing I said out loud to myself as I rode up to this place on my motorcycle was "What did I get myself into". It looks like the kind of place that drug deals happen. With the abandoned gas station in the same parking lot and dilapidated appearance, this place COULD be very nice and kitschy, with its 1940's feel. Instead it is run down, falling apart and unmaintained. Peeling paint in the rooms, walls patched with plywood, bath tiles put in place with caulk (and very badly I might add), dodgy air conditioning, questionable electrical work, outdated and mismatched furniture, old mildewy carpet, potholed parking area and questionable residents(???). The only thing I will give this place is this: The Shower was good. The Bed was clean, comfortable and bed bug free. The WiFi was great. Other than that..... I'll never stay here again. "I had been driving for 12 hours and couldn't take much more. I thought it would be a cheap motel and I could just get some rest. Unfortunately this place has long term questionable residents. The rooms are extremely worn and dated. Wifi doesn't work. The showers are not clean. The carpet is stained. The beds are dirty and low quality. I would only suggest staying here if you have no other choice. It was wild I paid almost $100 for that bad of a room. The staff seemed to be annoyed I showed up at dark and I figured it wasn't worth the effort to even confront them."

"No coffee, no ice, no Wi fi. The towels and pillow cases were stained. The room was ratty and the staff was not friendly. This was not the cheapest hotel if our vacation but it was by far the least comfortable."

"I recommend staying here, the room is affordable for 2 beds, the room was very clean, restroom clean hot water, cold a/c, beds and pillow very comfortable i didn't want to get up, and most important thing the t.v remote worked. I stayed in 3 motels 3 nights before i stayed at Gray plaza to save my company money by far this place was worth it. The 2 females working the counter were nice and helpful with any questions i had. Thumbs up"

"Ok, so bottom line no sugar coating. It's a real dump. I mean the towels are clean. I've been in truck stop and rest area toilets that are more appealing than this place. Now if your on a tight budget and traveling for work, then by all means, stay at your own risk. I would rather sleep in my car than to stay more than 1 night at this place."
