"Had to reshedule an appointment due to an extreme family emergency receptionist said ok and was nice about it but then called back to say doctor could not see us at all anymore due to this reschedule . Is this how it really is? Did this doctor forget we are human and can't control some situations? Heard so many great things about this place and feel extremely dissapointed."

"Dr. Habersang is caring. However, she is also sometimes full of herself. She calculated our daughter’s weight wrong (her scales measure in kg) and argued with us about both her birth weight and the weight she took at the 1 week and 2 week visits. The only real issue with this was that like most newborns, our daughter did lose weight in the first week of life. However, she had gained most of that back within another week, but wasn’t up to birth weight, which Pia said she was. I would just hate for someone else to go here that might not catch an error like that and find out their baby wasn’t getting enough nourishment, because the weight was miscalculated. That’s an important thing with newborns to keep an eye on. While we were discussing the fact that we thought she had miscalculated the weight, my husband was on his phone looking for the picture of when our daughter was born to shown Pia the birth weight and she kept looking towards him and acting aggravated as though he should be paying more attention to what she and I were discussing. I thought it was pretty unprofessional. Also, at other doctor’s offices, I have always carried my baby, especially a newborn, to and from the scales etc. Pia did this herself, which made me extremely nervous. There is a step that sticks out on the exam table and although she didn’t trip at all, she did kind of shuffle around it on her way to the scale with my newborn. She is a nice person...but when it comes to being humble, she’s not. As a parent, I want someone who I am not only comfortable with, but also someone who takes me seriously should we disagree on something. Based off of the micalculated weight (she had recorded wrong 3 times in my baby’s 2 weeks of life) and her inability to even consider checking for error or listen to us when we told her the birth weight was wrong, combined with me feeling extremely nervous with her carrying my newborn to and from the scales etc ... we decided to find a different doctor for our children."
