Mendota Hills Campground

"There was a lot to do at this beautiful and fun campground! The bathrooms were impeccably clean and there were lots of things to do provided. Staff was also extremely friendly and willing to help out."

"So it's $40 for a camp spot without power or water and $48 with both. A bit expensive per night but other than that this place is awesome. The owner and staff are super friendly and helpful. Kids had a frog race in the AM. They will even taxi you around if it is your first time there camping or if you just need it. They have rental golf carts for $140 a nights which is also a bit high but there if you need it. They have 4 lakes and in one they have kayaks, paddle boats, and a dock for fishing. 2 other lakes for fishing and 1 lake for swimming. They have a big inflatable water slide and 2 other inflatable water toys. They even had a leau and a pig roast while we were there with a live band. Great spot for a weekend of camping. This is what happens when Americans buy and build in America!"

"This was our first time at Mendota Hills and it was a great weekend! With our arrival on Friday night, we were greeted by friendly staff and check in was fast and easy. We purchased firewood and it was delivered to the site as we were guided to the site. We really like the cement pad on the pull thru sites and we’re set up in no time. Everyone around the camp grounds were friendly and it was a beautiful setting with the open fields and healthy lakes. There are great activities for everyone to enjoy and everyone seemed friendly and welcoming. Our son was quick to make friends and there was a lot of space to play and different activities to try. His highlights included the frog jumping contest, basketball knockout games, Bingo, volleyball and playing with other kids. The camp ground and showers are clean and quiet. We look forward to our next trip and making more memories as a family. Thank you Jamie, Michelle, Donna, Glenda, and John for your hospitality. See you again soon!"

"This place is awesome! All the staff was very nice, other campers offered a hand as soon as we pulled up to our site. We were told by another camper to help our selves to his wood if we needed some. This site comes with a fire ring, pick nick table and an above ground black tank very nice having to haul waste away. They also offer rental golf carts here. The fishing is catch and release so no license required. We had a great time and highly recommend. The only con is that the sites are a little close however we had a great neighbor."

"This is an amazing family campground. My sister introduced me to it and we fell in love. My daughter and I have so much fun camping out, swimming and doing activities. I was really surprised by all the great family activities. There was build a cardboard boat race, frog races, dance parties with donuts, and Halloween trick or treat, pumpkin carving, and Christmas in July was so fun seeing all the decorations. The prices are really good and there's even a church on site. I highly recommend this place."
