Geneseo Campground is a peaceful hideaway located just outside the historic town of Geneseo, Illinois. With 59 pull-thru sites, 12 back-in sites, 4 cabins, a yurt, and a camp store stocked with all the necessities, we welcome RVs of all shapes and sizes to unhitch and relax at our campground. Our authentic log cabins provide a rustic adventure for those without RVs, and we also offer single and double kayaks, canoes, E-Bikes, Fat Tire Bikes, and Pedal Carts for rent. Our spacious RV sites come with full hook-ups and moveable fire rings, making it easy to unwind and enjoy the outdoors. Whether you're camping in a tent, RV, cabin, or yurt, Geneseo Campground has something for everyone. Area attractions, including antiquing, history, a zoo, and shopping, are just minutes away. With clean facilities, friendly staff, and a variety of amenities, we strive to provide a relaxing and enjoyable camping experience for all our guests.

"Clean. Affordable. Well kept. We arrived after hours but the instructions on the door were easy and clear. A little far off from I-80 as we’re are just passing through. And it rained on us. We were in tents. But stayed dry. We would come again and plan to stay."
"We made last minute reservations while traveling through the area. This is a motorcycle friendly campground. Nice rocked roads, great tent areas with thick grass and extremely clean bathrooms and showers. Staff was very friendly. I thought the "community garden" near the office was a really cool amenity. I've saved this campground and will camp here again if traveling through!"
"We reserved the yurt for a weekend and it was great. Very clean, air conditioning, even a dehumidifier! Definitely was a “glamming” experience. The staff was very nice and accommodating. Great location next to the Canal with rentals available for water excursions. The grounds themselves were in very good condition. I’d definitely recommend."
"Super friendly staff and lots of perks like these awesome pedal go-carts, ping pong, convenience store, firewood, ice etc. We were working for most of our stay, but we met some very friendly campers while we were there and enjoyed the convenience of their full hookup sites. It's clean, safe and has everything you need and more. We look forward to returning."
"We stopped here for just one night, passing through, but would have been very happy to stay much longer! The staff is phenomenal: friendly and helpful. Getting water hookups at every site is a bonus, especially at such a good rate. The bathrooms are incredibly clean and air conditioned. My kids loved the little splash pad! If we're in the area again we will definitely stay here!"
