"My sister needed a total hysterectomy and her obgyn was not comfortable doing it because of how much scar tissue she had. She was referred to Dr Drake and he performed her surgery. During this time I found out through genetic testing that I had an extremely high chance of cancer. My obgyn at the time recommended a total hysterectomy and so did my gastric doctor but I wanted another opinion and I wasn’t necessarily comfortable with my obgyn at the time performing it. My sister pushed me to see Dr Drake and I am so grateful I did. He is awesome with his patients, down to earth and treats you as a person and not a number. I knew upon meeting him that I could trust him and wanted him to perform the surgery. I have just recently had my hysterectomy and am in recovery and doing well. At the hospital, every nurse who I talked to before and after the procedure had nothing but excellent things to say about him. He is an outstanding doctor and so is his team. I live in Katy, but happily will continue to make the drive to continue as one of his patients for the years to come.
