"I was seeing this so called Dr. About 15 years ago and it seems he is much worse. I had an infection, probably sinus and I didn't have insurance at the time, and he prescribed me an new antibiotic which was about 100 dollars. At this time there was not any thing like good rx.I asked him for a cheaper one amoxicillan has always worked just fine for me. He refused. I told him money was real tight at the time. He didn't care because he is only in it for the money. He got money every time he wrote a script for that drug. Stay away from this Dr."

"Worst so called "Doctor" that I have ever dealt with. I was recently hospitalized for stomach ulcers, a hiatal hernia & several ulcers in my esophagus. Upon being discharged from the hospital I was not prescribed any medication to help any of the three conditions I was diagnosed with. He only came to see me one time in 3 days for less than 5 minutes to tell me that there is pretty much nothing he can do for me and that I just need to take over the counter medication to control stomach acid...... Previously I had visited his office due to the fact that I am having difficulty sleeping. His reply to my statement was "What do you think I should do about this?" He has a terrible bedside manner, very rude, uniformed and inadequate as a physician."

"This doctor is dangerous. He accepts Medicare and therefore preys on older unsuspecting victims who trust him. He is uneducated on up to date medical care. He is also a working physician for one reason alone...money. Your grandparents life is at serious risk if this man is their physician. I am a RN in Austin and have seen the care that he's provided to my grandparents over the years and the man truly is incompetent as a physician in 2016. I have no reason to be upset or angry or disgruntled, this is just a real heartfelt warning to those who cannot stand up for themselves and trust that a doctor must be capable to be practicing. This is not true. Many incapable, dangerous physicians are allowed to practice medicine & luckily if you've read this review you won't fall victim to this one. His education is at least 20-30 years old and has not been updated; he is required to do continuing education as a physician in Texas but there are ways around that and he obviously does not stay up to date with the major changes in healthcare over the past 30 years. **If you are a diabetic, this man is especially dangerous. He prescribes needless medications, has zero concern for long term survival rates or side effects. Aside from being an awful, uninformed primary care physician, his credibility is deeply flawed because he also runs a pill mill for stimulants. He prescribes "diet pills" which are legal amphetamines to women all over Brazoria County and makes a lot of money doing it. He is NOT a specialist in weight loss or anything else for that matter and so I warn you to please STAY AWAY from this physician. If your grandparents are seeing this man, intervene. It could mean life or death."

"Dr. Kattegummula is a great doctor and has been around for awhile. he has treated many of my family members over the years. I highly recommend him as a doctor. My problem with his office comes with the front desk staff. "Cathy" is very rude and unhelpful. She will not listen to what you have to say. Just rude and doesn't even try and help you. "Christine" on the other hand, helpful and very polite. Highly recommend Dr. Katte but will just deal with Christine in the future."
