"The Friday fish fry was delicious. Some of our group had cod, I had the bluegill. All the food came out hot and crispy, plus the potato pancakes were good too. I'll be back to try the Italian beef special on Thursday. We did have to wait at the bar for a table but it was well worth the wait."
"Great "family"owned... local bar/ food. The best fried chicken, burgers, Italian beef sandwiches, even a smelt fry... and much more. Never been dissatisfied with the food. Always Friendly bartenders. Must try there fried chicken special on Mondays."
"Stopped for lunch with a friend. Had the half chicken special and it was excellent and inexpensive at $7. Served fresh out of the fryer. I had to wait ten minutes for it to cool off!"
"We get our Friday fish fry (take out) from Chris's and it's always good. I have called them to place an order and sometimes they are so busy they can't answer the phone, so, I'll call an hour ahead of time and ask to have my order ready an hour later, they are very accommodating that way."
