"I brought my dog in for a nail trim, my appointment was double booked and they told me to drop him off. 10 minutes after dropping him off I was told his services were completed and that they could not trim his nails without a sedative due to a heart murmer. After getting told of all the things that could possibly be wrong with an almost 9 year old dog, I got guilt closed out of fear to run extra tests on my dog (which came back negative of course). What started as a quick attempt to get his nails trimmed and an updated rabies shot turned into an all day $230 fiasco that left my dog a shell of himself for the next day and a half due to sedating him with unnecessary drugs that he has never required before for such a simple errand. Banfield is not nearly as interested in helping pets as it is about extorting their owners financially."

"Took our furr baby here because he woke up without the ability to walk. Upon dropping him off we requested that they express his bladder since he had already gone more than 12 hours without using the restroom. Come to find out, they did not express his bladder, But told us we needed to wait for the pay medication to kick in. I asked how many Days to wait, And they stated two days (which would be 3 days that he will go without using the restroom). Upon doing research, and Getting a second opinion from another experience vet, Going longer than 12 hours without using the restroom is an emergency.... And the bladder should be expressed immediately. They merely forgot, And tried backing up their mistake with false information. **The experience was great, However, they failed in doing what we asked and Gave us incorrect information that could harm our furr baby more than what he already is.**"

"We’ve been bringing our dog here for a couple of years and have received good care. We recently adopted a puppy who we brought in after she started limping after playing. I was concerned it could be a luxating patella as our other dog who had them presented similarly. When our puppy was taken back to see the vet, a staff member who was not our vet tech could be heard saying “well it’s contagious” in a mocking tone. I am very aware that a luxating patella is not contagious and just because my one dog had them doesn’t mean this new puppy will. However, it is a costly procedure and if this new puppy may require surgery in the future, I’d like to be able to prepare. They are also similar breeds so concerns for luxating patella was not off base. Joking or not, it was very rude and condescending of the staff member to make that comment (who wasn’t even initially helping care for our puppy) and ruined our experience and desire to return to banfield. The walls are not sound proof and you should be treating your customers with a bit more respect when you do not know the entire story."

"Dr Schmid was great with my skittish cat. My cat felt very comfortable with her and she was extra sweet to the vet. My other cat saw a different vet there, but I think I’d rather both of my cats stick with Dr Schmid. My other cat had a very different experience with a different vet than my skittish cat did. I’ll take my cats to this clinic from now on."

"I scheduled an appointment for a free check up on my cats health. They examined my cat very well and I wasn't looking to put him on a plan or anything but with their evaluation I was able to pick up some practical tips on how to take better car of my cat such as medicines, and different things to give him to better his health. The vet was very sweet and kind and they definitely would take care of your pet here too."
