Southside Bank

"This is one of the most fraudulent banks I’ve ever had to deal with. Before Southside bank took over the Omni bank was great but slowly over the years Southside has update and changed policies to really only help themselves and not the clients they serve. Today, I went by the bank as I made a large purchase over the weekend when they were closed and wanted to use my card not cash. It would overdraft me if I did not deposit the cash but no big deal, I can stop by Monday before the transaction goes through and transfer the money. I’ve been told this by their staff on multiple occasions and done it on a few. When I tried to deposit I was told that the system was down and they could not do anything. My question was will I be charged an overdraft fee for the charges that go over as I have the money in hand but it is their system that will not allow me to get back in the positive. I was told to try and call later to see if they could help. Fast forward to the afternoon, the system is still down I am told I will be charged and I can talk to them once the system comes up to see if they would do anything about the overdraft charges. Do not waste your money at this bank, they will only take."

I've been waiting for my card and checks from my company way too long and is extremely frustrating when they tell me that they can't give me a probational card. they don't know how to appreciate their customers at all"
