Ridglea West Animal Hospital is a family-owned, full-service veterinary hospital located in West Fort Worth, Texas. Our dedicated team of veterinarians and staff are committed to working with pet parents to provide the best possible care for dogs, cats, small mammals, birds, and reptiles. We offer a range of services including preventative care, in-house diagnostics, dental care, soft tissue surgeries, parasite prevention, and emergency vet services during regular business hours.

"They have great staff at the front. But be wary of taking your rabbits here. I had brought mine in for an issue that they had not seen before. Instead of recommending another vet to check her out, they kept using mine as a Guinea pig for various medications. When we found one that worked, they refused a refill and want to see her again. I brought her here and spent way too much money on an arrogant vet who would not admit he didn’t know what to do. I have since started going to another vet who is willing to admit when they don’t know something and knows which other vets to point me to for the correct diagnosis and treatments. He also tried to tell me that their hay is the best and I shouldn’t waste my money buying anyone else’s hay because it won’t be as good. I go through a rabbit rescue that also grows their own hay. Very disrespectful."
"I took my parakeet because he had a respiratory illness. They got me in quickly. The Vet Tech was wonderful with him. The doctor checked him out & recommended meds & diet. Had a follow up which went well. Thank you Ridglea West for making this bird Mom happy. J.J. Is doing great!"
"The staff were incredibly knowledgeable about reptile care and genuinely cared about my skink. Some of the vet techs even took pictures with her because they hadn’t seen a skink in their office before! I felt very confident in their care and Scoots has a clean bill of health."
"This is my "favorite animal house" This group of amazing animal loves have taken wonderful care of all of our critters from Max the Pyrenees, to Shaggy the guinea pig to even our pet hedgehog.
