"Divorce is never easy, but John and Shannon helped me navigate the difficult experience in the best way possible. They were informative, supportive, and ensured I was kept up to date on all activities. There were several situations that required an immediate response and John immediately made himself available even on evenings and weekends. I could not have asked for better representation."

"I extend my utmost gratitude to my John and his invaluable assistant, Shannon, for their exemplary professionalism and unwavering support throughout the intricate almost two-year divorce proceedings. Their legal acumen and dedication significantly eased the complexities of the case, leading to a favorable resolution for both parties. Importantly, their efforts ensured I now have rightful access to my son. Their commitment to excellence and effective communication are commendable, making them an outstanding team for anyone navigating challenging legal matters. Highly recommended!"

"This review is based on my experience with this law firm. I have spent close to 8K on a divorce where there are no children and have a postnup in place not to mention the whole divorce was a paper process. No court, no mediation, no contesting to post-nup. I would have spent 11K if I did not speak up for myself. Towards the end, I am really disappointed in this law firm notably: 1. Was encouraged to file for a restraining order which was denied initially. Only reason I received one later was because the other party signed the document to avoid going to court which the law firm scheduled to appeal the denial. I was told by another lawyer that judges hardly ever approve restraining orders where there is no evidence of domestic abuse. I was also encouraged that this order would help facilitate the divorce in that the other party would need to respond by 30 days but my divorce dragged on for months so there was really no benefit. 2. Numerous clerical errors - Another clients documents were submitted in my documentation as evidence to the court, which I flagged. Numerous typos in the documents prepared, including a document that was prepared stipulating that my ex-husbands parents address was my financial responsibility instead of my own address, which I also flagged. Thankfully I read through the documents and captured these errors so that they would not be finalized. I did not receive any credit for my own work. I also noticed now that several documents that were finalized contain clerical errors. For a law firm that charges what they do, you’d expect a higher level of fidelity in their paperwork. 3. I fail to understand how several hours were claimed in preparation of various documents when they are templates that are populated with our info. 4. I arrived to the law firm to submit paperwork but was asked to stay as the legal assistant wanted to meet with me. She began to flip through first couple of pages then regurgitated information. Looking back I feel this meeting was purely to bill me as it was unnecessary. 5. They would forward me emails I felt were unnecessary then forward me the actual documents sometimes, not always, the next day. Also feel looking back this was unnecessary and was purely to bill me. 6. I had to follow up multiple times on the status of my divorce because I felt it was stagnant and I was not receiving any updates otherwise. Was told that the other party was unresponsive via email so I asked if follow up calls could be made. The lawyer informed me she would follow up with me but never did. Then I received a request to re-supplement my retainer which I found to be unacceptable and I let my disappointment be known to the law firm. The lawyer let me know that my only option was to go to court which was really disappointing to hear. The lawyer responds to my feedback with a condescending email about how “things don’t go my way”, how she cannot “harass” the other party, “court wasn’t my only option”, she called me to give me a status, and that she asked for the other party to be responsible for the fees in the petition. I responded that I’m not upset things didn’t go my way but the fact that my divorce has unnecessarily dragged on for months, I did not ask her to harass the other party and don’t see how following up via phone call is harassment if they are unresponsive to emails, mentioned that she did explicitly stated court was my only option in her email, I received no call from her, and although she did ask for fees in the petition, it was not included in the divorce decree. I’m really surprised by this treatment by this law firm considering their glowing reviews. My 2 cents is to do your research on legal processes and law firms so you don’t end up unnecessarily spending an obscene amount of money and think that law firms care about you."

"RUN - my son used Morgan Hybner for a divorce, and twice he received paperwork with other people getting divorces - once intertwined in his own - see photos, and once the names were switched around in his own divorce like his wife was the petitioner (she wasn’t). Each time the errors were found, he sent back with tracking to correct the errors, and they STILL filed the paperwork with someone else’s information TO THE COURT!!! See date on the photos below and the page numbers so buried within the divorce paperwork and part of it was for a doctor - my son isn’t a doctor, nor is his wife. They kept modifying temporary orders even though nothing had changed (other than the other party being non-compliant)……. But Morgan Hybner had been modifying orders along with the other attorney since March………. Even though the mediator sent the copy in early May signed by all parties. My son was in a holding pattern (six months) to see if the wife would comply with orders. The mediation was in late March he was charged around +/- $15,000, and he’s still not divorced. He said no more money to Adam’s Law Firm because this was about the SAFETY of his children involved, not to pay an attorney to push paperwork that had nothing to do with his requests. They DO NOT PAY attention to detail and charge to fix their own errors or don’t fix them and send them off to the court as you can see below in the photos! Supposedly she can act as an amicus, but in this case the kids were the LAST thing she was worried about! My son wouldn’t use her for an amicus after this experience. It’s all about running your bill up. They wanted another $10,000 to request another drug test, file to garnish his wife’s wages for non-payment/late payments, to file a motion to modify temporary orders, and motion to enforce orders (any left overs if there are any would go toward another mediation or hearing with the judge)……. But no guarantee you would be divorced! She kept threatening to withdrawal so my son picked up his files so he wouldn’t waste anymore money on this law firm and the incompetence he encountered. He filed his own Motion to Modify Temporary Orders and has his court date already……. Even with the holidays!! It was an open & closed case - handed all the proof over to Morgan. See the third photo of his file - Morgan’s amount of work circled in red. The purple is all the work done by us! They didn’t do background checks or anything. My husband found out the wife was arrested, and that’s when my son decided to file the paperwork himself. UPDATE 1/2/24: The opposing counsel withdrew today after proof was sent to judge for court!! MORGAN had the same arsenal we gave! Find another attorney WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM!"

"John and Shannon supported me thru a somewhat complex international divorce case. The whole process was fast and smooth and left both parties with a fair outcome. At a very difficult period in my life both John and Shannon were diligent, straight forward and very responsive throughout the process, which made things a little bit easier for me. Thanks John & Shannon!"
