"Postal worker behind counter VERY courteous & helpful. I needed to mail 2 packages and came in with only the contents & found the materials I needed and she did very good job... not just ringing it up, she sealed & reinforced the package, even locating some padding for me. Very happy with my experience at this post office in Alpkne TX."

"Inside staff very helpful, carriers not so much. 2 packages delivered to wrong address within a month of each other. Mind you it’s a business address."

"What do you expect from a post office in a small town in the middle of nowhere? When I first moved to Alpine they took forever to change out the lock at my apartment complex. My keys didn't work for a while. They're always delivering mail to the wrong people at my complex as well."

"I had an Amazon package that I was supposed to receive within 2 days but didn’t because it sat at the post office for an additional 4 days before they decided to even attempt to deliver it. Once it said it was delivered I checked high and low but my package was nowhere to be found. I went as far as checking my security cameras and nothing. No package in sight. When I called the post office I was told by the Post Mater (Armando Mata) that it was delivered at 10:52 A.M. When I told him it wasn’t delivered TO MY HOUSE @ 10:52 A.M. He just repeated himself over and over again. “ My computer says it was delivered at 10:52 A.M.” He wasn’t even willing to help solve the situation after repeatedly telling him I didn’t get it. He didn’t even offer to track it down. His unwillingness to assist me was evident, so I ended the call. He was extremely rude, and incompetent. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. Typical Alpine- subpar service. Cognitive dissonance is a real doozie for the feeble minded when it comes to our local Post Master. The picture below is why Alpine residence don’t receive their packages on time, even if you’re an Amazon Prime member. Thanks again NOTHING Mr. Mata!"
