"Small place at the distribution center. Only open at 4pm on certain days. Nice people."

"This location is operated by a cadre of folks who are long-time UPS contractors. They treat it not as a UPS terminal, but as if it were their own business with different rules. They "cover" for each other if a mistake is made. Case in point, my two recent experiences with "substitute drivers". We live in a very remote part of Brewster County, TX. It IS difficult to find us without directions and the drive in from the main road takes about 25 minutes. Yet UPS will insist they deliver to us. Earlier this year, an important package was due to be delivered to us on a Monday. Or regular delivery driver, one of the "cadre" himself, was on vacation. The package was NOT delivered until nine days later when he returned from vacation. The substitute driver was heard to tell a local store clerk that our address took too much time to get to and he refused to come here. Amazingly, the tracking number of the item disappeared before someone from the real UPS contacted me and no action could be taken against this driver at that time. Yesterday, a gift from a client was "delivered" to us. However, no UPS truck came near the ranch and the package is nowhere in the area. It was misdelivered or stolen, again, by the substitute driver. UPS phone numbers are now answered by voice recognition software that will not allow "pressing buttons". The software tells me that I cannot be transferred to a live person for this problem. Finally reaching someone (in the Philippines), I was told to contact the shipper as they, UPS, would NOT open an investigation. This cadre of relatives and long-time friends at the Alpine, TX terminal, needs to be broken up by UPS and the substitute driver who refuses to do his job, fired. NO ONE should have to have the headaches his actions have caused me! UPS needs to be shamed into action!"

"Paid $158 dollars for a 3 pound package to be delivered overnight was sent out on the 7th today is the 9th when.On line said it would be delivered by 2pm it's 4:30 pm no delivery. I call automation tells me to contact local customer service office,I go down there they tell me the package is in Midland and maybe tomorrow or Monday. No remorse, no attempt to correct situation. I told clerk who was polite that this company ought to be ashamed of themselves, he told me to complain, so that's what I'am doing. Not that they care. UPS worst company. Late deliveries, damage packages, double park constantly, and drive over the speed limit. Texas RR Comm should revoke their ability to deliver packages."

"Don't usually do reviews but this is irritating.. Ordered a pre lit Christmas tree on Amazon. It was shipped correctly, up until it came to Ups in Alpine here. Says it was delivered and I got nothing. I was home waiting for it. No knock. Nothing. It is now lost and I have to file a claim. Never had to do this before when I lived in Minnesota. EVER! The package before this was delivered to the wrong address and I had to call on that too. Irritating and upsetting with UPS right now and I'm afraid to order anything else until this gets resolved. Holidays are around the corner and I really hope they get their sh** together!"

"For 3 days the UPS costumer service has put URGENT notes for them to call me, and get my package back to the ORIGINAL location it was supposed to be sent to, and yet nobody has contacted me after speaking to 8 people daily and all of them leaving urgent notes. These have to be the most vacuous people to exist."
