"Ms. Jordan truly cares about the client and works very hard and does not rush the difficult work of therapy. She truly wants the best outcome for her clients. She will surely challenge you as the client but has great confidence that the client can do challenging work leading to emotional freedom, joy, a greater rooted sense of self! In a day in age where some therapists are just coasting looking to collect pay checks, it really is a gift to have a therapist that truly cares and is willing to walk you through the hard work of therapy."

"Oooo y’all when I tell y’all that Ms. Jordan saved my LIFE . My mental health was in the trash and that’s not an exaggeration. She really helps you help yourself and if you’re willing to do the work, you’ll see progress. As a single mom navigating this life with no support who was trying to leave an abusive relationship, being able to have a trusted , experienced therapist who operates in integrity was a blessing . Anxiety doesn’t control my life anymore , I’m learning to be comfortable in peace versus wallowing in chaos AND I’m now in a space to actually feel my emotions and articulate them as opposed to just shutting down. I still have work to do and I will definitely be back but 10/10 DEFINITELY recommend"

"MY NAME IF BRITTNEY PIERRE. Not Avery Lee. I Would NOT recommend this place. I saw Marian Aguwa. She was nice during the initial consult although I felt “mad black woman vibes” based upon how she was asking me questions and answering my questions with a question. (I’m African American so I know the vibes). However, I went along with it because I really needed a metal break from work. I have bad anxiety, only sleeping 3 hours throughout the night, not eating and can not go out in highly populated places. She did assist me in getting my leave approved. However, during the sessions we had, she did not assist with any recommendations or help guides to assist me with my problems. Fast forwards, she did recommend I speak with another doctor for anxiety medicine which I did. I have been taking my anxiety medicine and still getting adjusted to it. So, I requested an extension so that I can continue to get adjusted. I still haven’t been sleeping and eating. I reached out to Marian to see if she could assist with a leave extension. She basically told me because I missed ONE appointment with her that I couldn’t get the extension. Well, no, she didn’t say that, she avoided giving me a direct answer via text and then ignored my text entirely. But, what’s she did do, is not call or respond to me, but, had the director or The BetterNow Health clinic reach out to me, again, via text not call to tell me since I missed the appointment, they couldn’t grant the extension. Now, let me back up. I did miss an appointment. However, as I indicated, I had not been sleeping, there was a death in the family and I have been mentally exhausted. However, my leave of absence dept called me and said since I was already approved, I did not need to do the weekly visits. I did not know that even though my work said this, that BetterNow had their own procedures. Otherwise, I would have kept doing the sessions which I had no problem with. Fast forward, the first or told me that they could not grant the extension for my leave since I missed said appointment. So now, I have to go back to work in a week, still not eating, still only getting 3 hours asleep and now, getting adjusted to new anxiety medication. If you want no results, unprofessional behavior from the help and director, inconsiderate, and no compassion for people’s mental health, go here. I’d give it a negative 0 if I could. Especially because the “director” could not give me the courtesy of a phone call and decided to text me lol this is how people that are dealing with mental health commit suicide."
