"Started going here last year, I have been mostly pleased with my experience. For starters, I recommend scheduling appointments early in the morning. There have been multiple occasions where Dr. Godsy has had to run late due to an emergency (which is completely understandable, especially as a psychiatrist who works with potentially high-risk patients), but I’ve found he’s on time if not early in the mornings. The only reason I would rank this place a 4.5 and not 5 stars is because of a mixup I had this weekend. I don’t want to blame anybody because I understand that things happen, but my medication was sent to the wrong pharmacy in a completely different city at the end of the day on Friday. Because they’re closed on Fridays, I couldn’t call them back to inform them of the issue until Monday, and the pharmacy I used refused to transfer my prescription. To their credit, they filled my prescription as soon as possible Monday which I greatly appreciated and feel like they cared about me enough to fix it. It may be a good idea to have an urgent hotline that works on the weekends for things like this just in case someone finds themselves in a similar situation to me or possibly a more severe one. Overall, the office staff is very kind and communicative about long wait times, Dr. Godsy is the most empathetic psychiatrist I have ever had the pleasure of working with, and he is open to working with you about literally anything. Very flexible, very kind, and very knowledgeable about what you need."

"My significant other has been a patient here for years. They are careless, neglectful and rude. The NP she sees is incompetent and doesn't remember her despite having seen her for years."

"Dr. Godsy's wait times can get a little long but it's because he takes the time to talk to you and actually listens to what you are saying. I feel like he genuinely cares about his patients. I saw a few other psychiatrists before Dr. Godsy and I feel more comfortable with him because he is more personable/friendly. I also like the office staff, they've always been friendly, both in-person and on the phone. I'm glad that there's also options to do appointments over the phone and a texting line to request refills, quite convenient."

"Very nice doctor. Very helpful with a great staff. If you need a refill of anything you need to call. They don't magically appear at the pharmacy. Also make your next appointment when you speak with him. Using text is easier than calling for me. I get quick service that way. You can also text for refills unless it's time for your appointment."

"Dr. Godsy and his employees often forget to send in refills of critically important medications, and the front desk receptionists don't answer the phone. 15-30 minutes is far too long to be away from the phone at a damn psychiatry office. There are many people who can't go without their medications for even a day, and that means the office is responsible for every person that hurts themselves or others because the office forgot to send a refill or neglected to answer the phone. 2/5 Irresponsible and neglectful. You get what your lousy insurance pays for I guess."
