"Dr. Bishop and her staff were an answered prayer for our family! When we first met her, my son was receiving speech therapy for articulation and stuttering from a different office and we had made little to no progress in 6 months. Our first appointment, she took the time to give my son a full evaluation and explained everything to me. She listened to my concerns and didn't rush me out of her office. She then provided a very thorough written evaluation with success criteria. It was so important to me that I knew what we were working towards and what "success" would look like for my son. I felt very confident in her plan and her continued reassurance that we were making progress. After every appointment she gave us homework and talked me through ways we could incorporate it into our daily activities without it seeming like I was "forcing" him to practice. Within 4 months my son's articulation had improved leaps and bounds and his fluency/stuttering had improved dramatically. Dr. Bishop has a very impressive bio, but she is EVEN MORE than that when you meet her in person! I cannot thank her enough for all she has done for my son and for the constant guidance and reassurance that she has given me! She has officially discharged us as of today and I can honestly say that we are going to miss her and her office so much! Patty, her office manager, is fabulous as well! I will be forever grateful to their office for the amazing difference they have made in my son's life!"
