"I had a session last week and it was not a good visit at all. Not only was I never told who my counselor would be and was unaware until the appointment, but my counselor did not do a good job at interacting. She sat behind her desk (very standoffish) and was texting on her cell the entire time. She didn't even keep her phone on silent. I just lost my sister, and she mainly just "hmm'd" as a response. Pair that with the being on her phone, I could not have felt more worthless."

"This place has been great for my whole family. My husband and I had marriage counseling there with Roger and both of my kids have been going there off and on for years. Kathryn Matteson is amazing with kids and I wouldn't take my kiddos anywhere else. My daughter loves her counselor and looks forward to every session. "Scheduled an appointment for myself and fiancé. We both took off work to go to 4:30 appointment. At 4:50 we asked receptionist what to do because we had kids to pick up and were informed that the person we were seeing wasn’t even in the building. We were scheduled to see Abbie Jones."

"I have been to this place before, and found it okay. I didn't get much help at the time because I didn't need it as the counselors stated and instead felt my mother needed help. Going there recently with severe depression you'd think they'd want to help; wrong. I went to two sessions and didn't get any advice when I asked for it, and when I made an appointment for a third session the next week, I arrived early and no one was there. I waited until after my time had already started, and the door was still locked even though there was someone inside. What kind of counselor makes an appointment for someone to then forget about it. This place never answers their call either and it's infuriating. I just wanted some help with my life and I have to deal with it all alone again. They probably still wouldn't care even if I were to kill myself (which I won't I'm just stating a point)"

"We live a half hour away from this center. Tonight is the SECOND time in a row that the secretary double booked our counselor and we were out. The first time this happened we were understanding and waited an hour for an opening. Tonight we made arrangements for our children and wasted an entire evening because the receptionist double booked our confirmed appointment. I spoke on the phone with her for a while and confirmed tonight at 7pm. We were told we could stay and wait an hour, in the case that the next couple were no shows. No thanks. This wouldn't be acceptable in my place of business and I don't see why it would be here, a place that people truly count on and need. We just love that we were treated as if our time wasn't valuable and our needs didn't either."
