"I am so glad I used Dr. Nomura for my son’s assessment! Sorry for the longish review, but I want all you other parents to know about this place. It is hard to know what you’re getting with psychologists when you just look them up. This was not our first rodeo. We’ve been to 2 other psychologists over the years. No comparison. Dr. Nomura seemed much more knowledgeable and he has a calm, relaxing demeanor. My son looked forward to seeing him, and I felt like he listened to me. It was such a different experience than what we had before. We had several appointments and were never rushed. The office was clean and had a relaxing vibe. His report was like 26 pages! It was so thorough, and I could really tell that he understood my son. Both my son’s pediatrician and our school’s assistant principal seemed very impressed with it. The AP said it was the best she had seen. He does take insurance, but not mine. That was a bit of a bummer. We had to wait a few weeks for the first session, but I feel it was worth it!
