"I had my first counseling session yesterday with Wendy and I am absolutely so happy that Martin Counseling was referred to me through my insurance. I called yesterday and was able to be scheduled and seen the same day! Everyone has been extremely nice and helpful, from when I first called to make an appointment, to follow up calls, and finally when meeting my new therapist, Wendy. She is so amazing, kind, friendly, but most importantly knowledgeable and caring. I absolutely look forward to future sessions!"

"With nowhere to turn and desperate for help Martin Counseling took my appointment in very short notice. The process to get me in was fast for my first visit. I was paired with Mrs. Karhoff. On our first visit I remember making it clear that I wanted zero religious counseling. My therapist made it clear that no religious forms of counseling would be implemented due to my wishes (although that was her specialty if I recall correctly), and she made good on that promise. It was such a relief and very kind of her to adjust her style to me. Darcy helped me deal with long standing issues I've had since childhood. No judgement. Although not all the exercises worked (mostly because of me), she helped me see things a different way and thanks to that I am able to deal with my day to day better. Unfortunately, my new insurance no longer covers me when I visit with her, so I discontinued my treatment at Martin Counseling, but I appreciated each visit and looked forward to it every week. I know they take my new insurance with other therapists, but I don't think I would want to see anyone else there, Mrs. Karhoff was just what I needed at the lowest point in my life. The only complaint I would have is that one visit I did not get a notice that she would not be there, so I drove from Sugar Land to Katy, only to find she was actually not there that day. As Mrs. Karhoff showed me, sometimes it's best to try to find the positive, so I did. I had a good drive there regardless and got out of the house. So simple, but we sometimes forget to think as such. There were some issues with my old insurance in which they did not cover some visits, and the front office workers were kind enough to follow-up with them nonstop so I would be able to be refunded for what I overpaid. It is not their job to do this, it is a courtesy. Another load off my shoulders, and within two weeks after my contact with the front office regarding this I had a check in my mailbox for the full amount of overpayment directly from Mr. Martin himself. 5 stars."

"We have an absolute amazing therapist who is no reflection of this review. Like most people we make our plans based on a appointment set a week ago in office only to find out nothing was booked is extremely disappointing. Adding insult to injury is the lack of professionalism handle in thier front office. Customer service skills need immediate improvement."

"I've been a patient for a while now after being recommend by lawyer Raed Gonzalez and hadn't had any issues until recently. I was being charged the full copay amount even though I had insurance and had told them about it and they told me that they had to wait to talk to my insurance. I continued going, but they still kept charging me the full amount. I spoke to Jennifer and explained the situation and she was extremely rude. She would talk over me and would respond to me with such a bad attitude. She then told me that I was only interested in getting money although I was being overcharged and only wanted the money they owed me back. I asked to speak to her supervisor and she kept telling me that she was the supervisor, completely ignoring that I did not want to speak to her. She then gave me an email that was not David's who is the boss for this company. After telling her I was going to report her to her supervisor, she responded with snarky comments. Needless to say, they are only interested in money rather that customer satisfaction."

"Komeh who was my therapist was truly a blessing. She was the best therapist I have ever worked with. Unfortunately she is no longer working here which is why I stopped coming here. The reason I am giving this practice 2 stars is due to the lack of professionalism and customer service from one of their employees that randomly called me to tell me I had an outstanding balance and demanded I pay and that I had missed my appointment with Komeh and that I needed to pay a missed appt fee when in fact she was not employed there anymore. She clearly was clueless on the situation and was utterly rude and unprofessional and never even called back to explain anything. I had to call back a total of 5 times until someone finally answered and had a different lady clarify everything and apologize on her behalf. I was actually considering coming back to this practice and working with a different provider but not after that incident."
