She helped me find the balance in my life that I was seeking and learned how to set healthy boundaries. She helped me find the best version of myself. "These people do not care about their clients. I had an appointment with Micheal Weinberger and I’ve called several times trying my best to let someone know just anyone that would pick up that I can not make the appointment because I got into a car accident. It’s nearly impossible to get a hold of someone at this place but they sure don’t have a problem taking out $125 while their client got into a car accident you’re not going to find sympathy or empathy at this place, so don’t make them your counseling service . Now I have to deal with this situation $125 short, they just make your life worse not better."

"This was my first time attending a therapy session with Greater Houston Counseling services, and I will never, ever be going back. First off, the receptionists were rude, I did not feel welcomed in the house, and it was really hot inside the house too. I paid money to hear about Michael's ("licensed" therapist) life. He talked about how much money he makes a year (??) and his wife's family financials. He kept interrupting me as I was talking about how I felt. I told him I hadn't been to therapy very often and he basically gave out definitions of everything the entire session. In an hour long session, I probably spoke about my feelings 15 minutes of the time. He said he wanted to have a "connection" but all he did was make me feel weird and like I wanted to leave. The session was ending, and I did not realize, he interrupted me, tapped his watch and said "your time's up". He then had the audacity to ask me to schedule another appointment, I went to the front, and again the receptionist was rude and not welcoming. I will never be going back to this therapist, this was the worst therapy experience I've ever had and they seriously need to reconsider who they hire and how they treat their clients. Seems like they're more worried about receiving payment instead of the actual therapy."

"I went for my first appointment on 11/4/21. The setting of the appointment was wonderful, informative, and very pleasant. I filled my paperwork out online and had a great experience with management. I believe Daisy was who i saw when i arrived. I'm giving at least one star for that. The therapist/Licensed Professional Counselor on the other hand? 1/10. I'd never see him again. I saw Micheal. I felt as though he did not listen to me at all. I felt like he undermined my already established diagnosis's from my previous 8 years of therapy in the first 5 minutes of the session. I went to him because the website said he was a specialist/certified in CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy). I felt as though i was talked down to like a child and most of my intake appointment was a condescending vocabulary lesson. I walked out of there, after having been very excited to start my journey on behavioral therapy, completely discouraged and disillusioned with therapy in general once again. I think that he was a lovely man on the inside. He was pleasant and seemed very happy, but as a Licensed Professional Counselor, I'd say no thank you. I will not be using this service again, and will just continue to look for what I need, but this was NOT it."

"Greater Houston Counseling Services has the nicest staff. The staff is very knowledgeable and they are always willing to explain the policies the agency has in place. They offer early and late appointments and they even have appointments available on the weekend. The best place to go for your mental health needs! The therapists there are always willing to implement new technics to help you. So grateful to have found them."
