"No sick time , bereavement pay until a year in with the job not really a driver friendly company. First got hired I was guaranteed two days off soon as I hit the truck was told it's 34 reset...my experience here hasn't been the best. If you get hurt or sick they don't really care they just want wheels turning."

"Only runs through the ugly midwest, even if you were hired for 48. If you don't live by their terminal they make you rent a car to get home and don't reimburse. Pay is less than national average. These aren't serious people, but if you like working for clowns, this the place."

"Well I applied for a driving job went through orientation the last day there they told me they where not hiring me because of an accident that I didn't get a ticket for someone hit me on interstate 45 in Dallas tx. NOW I GOT NO TICKET the person that hit me never stop. But here again the last day.DRIVER RUN THEY WILL SCREW YOU OVER"

"went to orientation because my recruiter Theresa Curtis told me I was at .55 per mile then when I got to orientation it was .44 had a conversation with Cathy orientation instructor and Theresa and was still at .44 when I left orientation to come home to wait for truck assignment they don't have a pet policy and won't consider it very low pay for experienced drivers and won't let you verify experience with w2 and have over 5 years experience and still at .44 per mile and Cathy orientation instructor ask what trucks we wanted we all stated freightliner and at the end she said may not get what you want. So why ask and give you a choice if that is the case. Very unprofessional company and experience. Heartland dispatch does not know what they are doing they will take you on and off so much you can't keep up their equipment is not very good its dirty and things wrong long periods of down time and you don't get the garrenteed pay they say and you don't get paid for your experience pay is low and miles are low don't even waste your time and effort with this company it not worth it. Don't even apply go somewhere else that appreciates you."
