"Saw this as I drove by, read the reviews, and had to check it out! Never judge a book by its cover! This was one of the tastiest gyros I've had in the area! I ordered the jumbo gyros meal, and it came with potato wedges and a can of pop. I didn't get my wedges, but my waistline was thankful! The gyro meat was really tasty! I'm not usually down for lettuce on a gyros, but this worked out well! It's what I would call a "greasy spoon!" In a convenience store no less! I'll be back for sure! Would've been 5 stars if I got the wedges, but no harm, no foul!"
"Ordered Gyros, hot wings and cheese burger. The gyros and hot wings were yummy! Affordable prices and we will be back to checkout the variety of hot foods. Wasn't a fan of the cheese burger but the service was wonderful"
"I've come to the davenport area for work for about a month and came across this gem of a convenience store, Sam's Food. It has everything you could need for a neighborhood convenience store from actual hot food (fish, chicken, pizza puffs, fries/wedges, hot wings, cheeseburgers, gyros, Italian beef, philly cheese steaks and more!), to chips and candy to sodas and juices, to coffee and pastries, you name it. There's a huge selection of everything including frozen food. I don't smoke or drink, but they've got a huge selection of those categories as well. The place is kept clean even during the salty snow days. The family running the store are so sweet and pleasant to interact with. It was such a convenience to me to learn that they own the laundry mat next door as well. I've washed a few times in there and while the washing and drying was quick, the clothes came out very clean. Thanks, y'all!"
"The owner is super Shiesty.. over charged me twice in one day for stuff that I normally get from them(allll of the other employees) for a way way cheaper Reasonable price... The regular price.) Seriously 4$ for a bottle of water? He wouldn't even scan it . He just randomly blurted out a price . So money hungry it's ridiculous. Was a loyal customer but will never be back again"
