"The Laredo crew are great. It's not a full terminal, fundamentally it's a drop yard and trailer inspection site. They do have securement equipment, you just need to ask. Verify the tarps are good, you Can refuse bad tarps. The showers are back and there's coffee upstairs. The reason I gave 4 stars is not the crew or the facility, it's the truckers that pass through and steal anything not nailed down. Never, never! take tarped coils from here without checking all the chains. People steal chains right off coils instead of just asking for chains and they will steal anything company issued off your truck. It's probably a good thing that overnight parking is not allowed, we'd be robbed blind."

"Been with western express now for almost 2 years now I love going to the Laredo drop yard it’s one of the few western express locations that they will treat you good and make you feel appreciated. With that being said my only real complaint with western express as a whole is when drivers are trying to get home time we put in for 2-3 weeks in advance and remind them of the requested home time to then be given a runaround and get told sorry can we try for this day instead and when we do request hometime they want to know why you want those days. So if they can actually get us home when we ask for it that would improve my option of the company don’t say that we have it set then at the last minute sorry all the loads heading that way are gone or my personal favorite tcall with this driver it will put us in a better position to get you there then sorry"

"This is a freight check yard. No load securement equipment, no overnight in yard. Just parking outside of yard on street, they open at 7:30am, and are closed at 8:00pm. They do have showers available. Make sure to check the trailers thoroughly, the red tag is usually not the only thing that needs fixing, it comes with the territory working for W.E."
