"A very disappointing experience. I ordered a 12 pound bone in prime grade roast and requested that the meat portion be separated from the bone and tied back onto the bone, a standard practice at better butchers, such as Caseys in Naperville. I picked up the roast and took it home. Upon unpacking it the meat portion was not separated from the bone and tied back. For $300.00 this is a completely unacceptable performance. This Failure I will never forget and I will never attend this meat market again. This was my first experience with the Wheaton Meat market and will be my last. They just do not follow through on the customers request. In deed I ordered this for pick up a week ahead of time so they had enough time to fulfill the request. If they do not have the ability to perform an expert butcher task, they have no place being in business. I could have gotten a better experience at Costco easily for 50% less. I cannot recommend this market for any service."

"My overall grade for Wheaton Meat Co is: A This is a great long-standing local butcher. I’ve been shopping here for decades. The quality of meat is absolutely great. That quality of course, comes at a price. Yes, you can get ground beef from Jewel or your local grocery store cheaper, but the meat here is superior. I will be living in another state next year, but when I do come back to visit, I will always be exporting 2 things with me. 1. Olives from Meson Sebika & 2 Breakfast sausage from the Wheaton Meat Co. I would drive 2 hours to come and buy this sausage. It’s the best I have ever had. All of our house guests say the same thing when we serve them this sausage. It’s amazing. Worth making a trip to this store!"

"Wheaton Meat Co is a fantastic, LOCAL one-off meat shop. We have been here many times and I finally felt compelled to give them their well-deserved review. Usually busy expect to wait a few minutes. Getting served you don’t feel rushed while choosing among the vast array of meats. The proof is in the quality. From the grill, the smoker or in the kitchen I’ve never been disappointed by the meats from WMC. Fun labeling too!"

"Absolutely great service and excellent products. I shopped there for my second time last week, bought the chicken wings. I seasoned them with their homemade stuff for an hour, grilled them, coated with buffalo sauce, grilled a little more - perfection! In anticipation of St. Pat's added pics of the incredible corned beef we get yearly from Wheaton Meat Co."

"They are by far the best meat shop in the Western Burbs. Any cut you need or want, they can do it. Also a great place to get a fresh Thanksgiving Hoka Turkey. They also supply the hamburger meat for a few of the local restaurants. Also, don't let the line discourage you! They have enough hands on deck so that you maybe only have to wait a few minutes on their busiest days."
