"If I could give 0 stars, I would. The instructor that I had for my driving test (last name was Locke but I’m not sure what his first name was) is racist and had the most disgusting attitude towards me. He was somewhat nice to me until my mom (who has an accent, wears the hijab and is clearly Muslim) came into the room to sign the paperwork. After that, his attitude obviously shifted and he was just being very rude and dismissive towards me. I was already uncomfortable before the test even started. Once I started my driving test, he wasn’t giving me instructions in a calm manner, he was being rude and essentially yelling the instructions at me. He yelled at me to stop at a stop sign as if I didn’t see it. I had been driving for a while now so I knew what I was doing but he was very disrespectful and I felt like he was acting this way intentionally in an attempt to make me so nervous to the point that I just failed every part of the test. He should not be allowed to work in a place with young teenagers because he does not have the attitude for it. Once we finished the driving test and I pulled back into the parking lot, he said, “I should fail you because with the way that you drive, you’re going to kill your family.” I’m sorry, but who says that kind of thing to a 16 year old girl??? I didn’t even respond to him, I just got out of my car and started crying because he was so rude and it was very humiliating. My mom was in the waiting room and she saw me crying when I went back inside and she was furious so she had a conversation with him and he was trying to excuse his behaviour the entire time. He tried to act like nothing happened and that I was “just nervous”. To be clear, I was not nervous for my test at all because I know I’m a good driver, I was not nervous or uncomfortable until Mr. Locke changed his demeanour with me. If you’re a minority, I would not recommend coming here because they are incredibly biased and disrespectful. I would recommend just going to the DPS or finding another driving school to take your road test."

"My sibling had went here with my mother and from the moment they pulled into the parking lot the instructor was being bias. The instructor had commented on the year of the car my sibling had to drive for the test and then at the end after the instructor failed him he said ‘you should just take the test somewhere else.’ He did not even allow him any chance to retry parallel parking. Immediately failed my sibling for it after he had not even finished adjusting the wheel even though the person before him had said he was given 3 chances to parallel park. . I would not recommend taking your child here if you want a fair and honest instructor to proctor your test for you so you don’t have to repay for the test again."

"Our family couldn't have been more thrilled from the personal service we received at Green Light Driving Academy. We started last summer and just finished this month with our son's driving test. From class instruction, driving lessons, to the final road test, Green Light has gone beyond our expectations. My son drove with happy, instructive, and attentive instructors at Green Light. Each instructor put my son at ease when he was first starting out, and I could see my son's confidence grow with each driving lesson. I don't know how many questions I had throughout this process, but the office staff was always helpful and happy to answer them. Jeanette helped us schedule our road test, told us exactly what we needed to bring to GreenLight, and comforted me when I got a little sad! When it came time for the driving test, my son was so nervous. The testing instructor took the time to look my son in the eyes, have a few minutes of chit-chat (he could tell my son was nervous) and my son walked away smiling! The testing instructor made a huge impact on my nervous teen (and me!), and it only took a few minutes. It is so nice to know there are still small businesses, like Green Light, that take the time to deliver excellent customer service. All in all, it was worth every penny and every hour we spent at Green Light Driving Academy. I now have a safe, confident, teenage driver, thank you Green Light!!"
