"I can't recommend ECAP enough to everyone I know who wants to become a teacher through an ACP. I finished the teacher preparation with ECAP almost 2 years ago. When I was still doing the program with ECAP, they were always so responsive with my emails or calls. You could talk to real people very easily at ECAP. They also provided me with the timeline of when I should have finished my online courses with them, when I should have taken the tests....etc. Towards the end, they even organized an event for us to prepare ourselves for the PPR test. Fast forward till now, when I don't really contact them often. I need a verification of the program completion form from them. I emailed them yesterday and once again, ECAP didn't disappoint me.They emailed me first thing in the morning to tell me that they would finish it ASAP and send it back to me. I can't ask for a better experience with ECAP. Thank you Leslie, Amanda and Sharon for making my experience with ECAP awesome!"

"Can not say enough good thing s about ECAP and the program they offer and the incredibly helpful people that work for them. I started the program during Covid when everything was shut down and they communicated in a timely manner and were still available to answer all my questions and concerns. I finished the program within my first year of teaching passing all of my state tests on the first try. The resources and help ECAP provided were a big part of me being able to accomplish that. The field advisor was so nice and supportive during my classroom visits and encouraged me throughout the year."

"They seemed really great at first but after they got my training fees, they started changing. They keep saying I qualified to teach a subject then changed it. After several conversations of misinformation, I finally settled and enrolled. That’s when the problem came, I emailed and asked about when would my first class be up and apparently me asking was a problem so they rescinded my offer letter which is fine because I prefer to work with a diverse program. I also sent emails that still to this day 6 and 7 months later, have not been answered. I just feel if I’m paying 4000 for a program, I should be allowed to ask a question without feeling like a bother. Hopefully your experience is better than mine."

"TL;DNR: ECAP takes all the mystery and agony out of quickly getting hired as a full-time classroom teacher in Texas. Unlike all the other Texas teachers’ certification vendors that I contacted, ECAP Teach responded promptly to my initial inquiry, then spent plenty of time with me to professionally answer all of my (many!) questions about how to get certified to teach -- as a guy who had never actually majored in teaching at college. All along the way, I felt that ECAP deeply cared about helping me to clearly understand not only ‘what’s required’ to get certified as a Texas teacher – but also what the most useful certifications are that could best maximize my chances of getting hired in a teaching position that I would love. Now that I am certified, I’m VERY happy that I chose ECAP as my alternative certification provider. The BEST part about choosing ECAP? Immediately after I passed my official Texes certification exams, I started getting calls and emails from some very good schools all over town asking me if I’d like to interview with them! ECAP helped me to land new teacher job interviews right after I got certified to teach! Joy!! Yes, I strongly recommend ECAP Teach as the very best alternative certification program in Texas for anyone who wants to travel the smoothest, fastest road to becoming a happy, certified classroom teacher in Texas."
