"Dr. Vokes is very kind and thoughtful! I appreciate the time she takes to answer any questions. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for women’s health needs in the Lakeway area!!"

"I was referred to Dr Vokes by my long-time primary care physician whose wife is Dr Vokes' patient. Unfortunately, I never did get to meet Dr Vokes. When I called to make an appointment for a routine annual exam (note that I am in my 60s, so this would have been strictly a well-woman gynecological exam, nothing to do with obstetrics nor any health issues, historical or current) I was told that I would have to come in for an "establishment appointment" first and then come back for a second appointment for my actual annual exam. In all my years of going to gynecologists in multiple states, I had never heard of having to go to an "establishment appointment" before a routine medical appointment. I could probably understand this if I were pregnant and switching doctors midstream or if I had a history of reproductive cancer but it would seem to make more sense to have a new patient fill out some forms and assess whether it is really necessary for me to have to come in twice and pay for two doctor visits just to get a routine exam. I'm sorry but this is not a patient-centric policy."
