"This doctor was extremely rude during my delivery. She kept saying to follow her commands. She did not know what she was doing, she kept saying that she couldn’t see while stitching me up. She mentioned that she was just there for just in case and that she had to go pick up her kids from school. Don’t go to this Doctor I do not recommend her very unprofessional!"

"Dr Brownfield delivered my first baby and I loved her SO much I decided I wanted her to deliver my second baby. As great as she is I think she may be taking on too many pregnant patients. I had to be transferred due to complications but I still would have loved for her to deliver my baby. The staff is always polite over the phone and in person. I'd go back to have her as my OB."

"I found Dr Brownfield on Google she is a excellent Dr. She handled my delivery with care. She knows her line of work I definitely will be referring her to friends and family. St. Joesph Women's Hospital made me comfortable and the nurses were great -Mrs. Allen"

"I absolutely LOVE Dr. Brownfield as well as the midwife. The atmosphere as well as the office staff are very courteous and nice. Though you may not see Dr. Brownfield every visit which is why she has a midwife...when you do get a one on one with her she's very understanding and passionate. This is my very first live pregnancy and I wouldn't pick any other doctor to deliver my daughter! She's awesome! I highly recommend her!"

"If I could rate Dr Brownfield with zero stars I would, by far the worst prenatal care ever!. I was recommended to her by very close friends who had amazing experiences with her, however my experience with her was very Disappointing. I started seeing Dr Brownfield at 10 weeks to 36 weeks, as my first pregnancy I didn’t know much and just kept seeing her despite the little things like seeing her midwife in most of my visits was a little frustrating but I dealt with it, My believe was “Good prenatal care comes with a cost,” the worst statement I could of stand by while seeing Dr Brownfield because I literally saw her like 3 times the whole time an then when I did see her she always seemed in a hurry, the last time I actually saw her was like at 32 wks an as time was getting closer to due date, I had a few questions. First, I would say that in middle of the consult she took a call (rude) before the visit ended I asked my first question by my second question Dr Brownfield was already exiting the consult room, she was in such a hurry she completely left me with words in my mouth then again I thought “ she might of received an emergency call or something “ then again, I was a patient as well and that was unprofessional. At 30 weeks, I started seeing severe Swelling in my feet and legs, at 32 wks visit Dr Brownfield said it was normal in pregnancy and well I also thought It was normal to be honest, the only thing was everyday It got worst and worst and I actually brought it up on most of my appointments just to be on the safe side since ( I was unable to walk, stand and my feet would go numb on me) then again Midwife at Dr Brownfield office said it was normal and no signs of preeclampsia. At 36 weeks, I was really concerned and started asking for Dr Brownfield on my appointments then again midwife at her office said, if she couldn’t answer my questions, she’ll get Dr Brownfield . My severe swelling was not as concerning to them as it was to me to actually show any concern as a patient that I decided to look for a new prenatal care Doctor. At 37 weeks, in a new doctors visit my new doctor was concerned about the swelling and without my records based on vitals and my answers He said I was showing signs of preeclampsia but he would bring me back in as soon as they had my records transferred, on my next visit with my new doctor, I had gained 7 pounds in less than a week (35 pounds) in 5 weeks according to records from Dr Brownfield office since swelling started, not protein in urine and no high blood pressure.. My new doctor decided to get me into a hospital bed, talk to me about inducement being my best option to prevent harm to baby and myself, once admitted again ( with no signs of preeclampsia) just his concerned on my swelling they test me for preeclampsia and came back positive! I delivered my babygirl same day Thank God at 37 weeks 6 days. If I had stayed at Dr Brownfield care God knows what could of happened to my baby and myself! Dr Brownfield could possibly be a great doctor but has to many patients that she can’t give them the proper care they individually need!! Like I mentioned I was recommended to her and her Google rating is 5.0 starts HOWEVER My prenatal care with her was extremely disappointing!! As patients we should all be treated with priority, as new mommy’s are questions should be answered and in concerning situations WE SHOULD ALL BE SEEING BY THE OBGYN and not just the Midwife."
