"Conveniently located, and they have the stuff I need. Most of the bad reviews seem to be on the lack of friendliness of the staff. I've gone to many dist warehouses. Most all of them are full of life hating people. Every now and then you'll get a crew that are fun to deal with, and enjoy interacting with the public. This is not that place. It's a place where you already know what you need, give them the part no, they pull the part, you pay, and you're on your way. Don't expect super knowledgeable staff (I cringe when I type that, because your should expect friendly and knowledgeable staff. Unfortunately that's not the world we live in anymore). This is a place where you've done your research, know what pieces and parts you'll need. They're just you're middle men who you buy the parts from. Would it be nice if they were friendly and knowledgeable as well? Sure, but I'd like to think that their rough attitudes keep most of the diy guys shopping at the big pool supply company's (pinch a penny/Leslie's/online). So when we need the parts, they'll have the parts we need."

"I been in the business over 15 years and on my own more than 13 this branch didn't exist and now one employee treat me like trash feeling like he owns the branch. That's not acceptable just because he is now a manager does not mean he is better than us pool Corp please pay attention to who you put in a high position and tell them we are the reason pool Corp open more and more branches."

"SCP Distributors Katy is an embarrassment to the Company. You have the young female associate calling customers the B word and telling them F this and that and the older fat lady who treats customers like garbage. I don’t know which is worse but you can do better. Rude, Unknowledgeable or pretend to be, staff who seem to hate their jobs and shows. I will be reporting them to SCP Distributors Corporate office because they should know how these two are representing their company. You should do the same if you have had this experience."

"John McNabb is absolutely excellent, and offers better pricing compared to PEP. He will sell you the whole store, if given the opportunity. Anyway, SCP offers value for value, a great company, with many excellent key people working there."
