"I had my IVF with Doctor Jason Griffith, but unfortunately, it failed. The team managed to take out the follicles but there were no eggs in them. The doctor explained to me that I do have eggs, but my body does not react to the medicine (trigger shot) as people usually does, so the eggs did not come out with follicles. I was told that I need to wait a little longer than 36 hours after the trigger shot. It took me a while to think it through, including researches and talking to my friends with IVF experience. My situation is unheard of. Looking back to my entire IVF experience, the Doctor is nice, the team is not great. Most of the time, I dealt with the team without seeing the doctor, and all the instructions/guidance came from nurses. Especially starting from the shot, if I had any questions to the instruction/guidance the nurse sent to me, I could not get feedback from them on time sometimes. Either office was closed because the guidance was sent after work hours or phones were not answered/emails were responded the 2nd or 3rd day. The emergence number did not help either. I had to guess what it meant or to go online for help. I clearly remembered at one time, they sent me the guidance to do one shot, but they forgot to order the shot for me. I had to call emergence numbers because the guidance was sent after work hours. It took me hours to get through to have the clarification, and I had to wait for another day to get the shot. The entire IVF experience was frustrating, and I probably missed some instructions as I could not get clarification of the instructions/guidance on time. I really did not know what went wrong that led to the failure. But as far as I know, this type of result is unheard of among all my friends with IVF experience and even research on internet. I just want to share my experience as a FYI."
