"Dr. Christie has seen me now through two pregnancies, and I couldn’t be happier or more confident in her care. I appreciate that she looks at me as a whole and not just a symptom, her patient care and attention to detail is unmatched and she is very thorough in reviewing symptoms and lining up the best course of action. My birth went smooth with her, and I had no problems postpartum and received thorough gynecological care afterwards. I highly recommend going to Dr. Christie if you are looking to be treated as a human being and not just another patient for the day. Also, her practice changed about a year ago, so I recommend giving her new office and staff a try, they are lovely!"
"Pathetic doctor and we had a nightmare experience. She could not diagnose my wife properly when she had severe pains after C-Section performed by her. We had to pay the price by trusting her and not going with 2nd opinion. My wife kept complaining of severe pains for almost 10 days and we went in person. She simply prescribed gas pain tablets even after seeing the patient could not walk on her own after 10 days of C-section. Finally, the incision teared down with an internal infection and had to go to emergency. They removed 1.2 liters of puss from her stomach and had to be admitted for weeks with back to back surgeries followed by Hernia after sometime followed by another surgery. All this was due to her pathetic diagnosis and she does not deserve to be a doctor who can't even distinguish between gastric pain and severe infection even after calling them several times and visiting in person. We had gone through a lot since the time she performed her C-section.. Never recommend this doctor to anyone"
"During the course of my treatment with DrAlexandra Christie, DO she abruptly canceled my treatment after I missed a single appointment. This action seemed disproportionate and inconsistent with reasonable medical practice. Upon reaching out to the office to discuss this matter, I was met with rude and unhelpful behavior from the staff. Additionally, I encountered resistance when requesting my medical records, as they insisted on payment for their release. This, in my opinion, raises ethical concerns as access to one's medical records should not be hindered by financial barriers. The overall experience has left me deeply disappointed and concerned about the professionalism and patient care standards at Dr. Alexandra Christie, DO I don't recommend her and her office to anyone."
"I never got to meet the wonderful Dr. Christie. I leave this review to contact her and let her know why. Because it was wrong of the receptionists and her receptionists (multiple ladies in the front came to the conclusion) cost her a patient and money. I’m aware there are more people to see than just me. So on to the next mama… but I still matter as a potential patient and how I was wronged does matters. I am a high risk patient from Louisiana. My second son last year was born 27weeks premature August 27,2022 due to congenital CMV.. he lived 3 weeks and 1 day. The most traumatizing thing I will ever have to go through in my life. Now here in September I found out I was pregnant again, my husband is on a job in Livingston until March and I wanted to be with him since it is scary to go through again after a loss, also my OB retired unfortunately. I got set up with Dr. Christie for an appointment on Halloween. I stayed an extra day in Texas skipping work. I got to my appointment, only then did the secretary tell me they didn’t accept my humana from Louisiana weeks later. Still that was ok because I still had BCBS through the bank I worked for. It was my primary, I just didn’t bother to mention it before because my last day at that bank was November 3rd. I was moving to Livingston. I explained and gave the ladies my insurance card. They came back a few minutes later and told me it had already been canceled… insurance does not work that way but I couldn’t sit there and argue with them because I didn’t know and they were already acting as if I wasted their time.. I found out my termination papers even though the bank knew my last day had yet to be sent to the insurance company once I returned to Louisiana.. so your secretaries lied to me after I had made such a long trip from central Louisiana for I remind you a very sensitive appointment. My insurance lasted until November 30th, because insurance covers you until the end of the month you worked in. I was not aware of this I had to do my homework on it but I would think the ladies dealing with your patients daily need to be aware of that. Instead of turning their nose up because they “think” they know. I understand a lot of patients come in and paperwork doesn’t get filed in some hospitals until months later and that’s why the bills that are sent to us take so long. Also that’s not on the patient that’s on whoever does all the paperwork they should have it done in a timely manner. It also shouldn’t have been a problem and I could’ve had new insurance by then, which I do now and it took effect December 02… same insurance just swapped from the bank. I do not appreciate being lied to especially when I’m just trying to make sure I don’t have to watch another one of my children suffer and die due to an illness nobody could catch in time.. I did find a terrific OB and prenatal specialist in Louisiana. so I still have to make trips but that’s ok. I hate that I never got to meet you Dr. Christie, but I hope that this is made aware to your ladies for the sake of future patients.."
