"Probably the worst doctor I've ever encountered. He diagnosed me with PCOS and essentially said, 'Here are some medications, lose weight, and good luck!' Despite knowing all these things, he told me absolutely nothing. You'd think he would have taken at least 10 minutes to explain my condition and what was happening. I saw him many times, and each time he just shrugged and prescribed another medication. I had insulin resistance and just gave me metformin. I had no idea why I was on metformin. He never told me. I could have treated my insulin resistance years ago! If you have PCOS, he's absolutely useless. Useless like all the other doctors who don’t know anything about helping woman with this condition."

My entire pregnancy was excellent and I had the best care. I felt very confident with the doctor and the nurse (Tila Broadway is the best nurse ever). "Dr. Torres and the staff and the hospital really pushed my wife to have an induction. They did not tell us the risks involved in induction including an increased chance of requiring a C-section, despite my wife telling them she wanted a natural birth. My wife was even scolded by the nurse for pushing back her induction date. They also did not explain any of the risks associated with c-sections including long-term effects which my wife is still feeling. When the induced labor the nurse did not turn off the epidural soon enough so my wife was not able to feel the baby and could not push properly. So they took her for a c-section. My wife was so mentally unprepared she began to have a panic attack and even while on the operating table Dr. Torres didn't even notice she was having a panic attack. He was about to begin the surgery when the anesthesiologist noticed and told Dr. Torres to stop for a moment while the anesthesiologist calmed her down. It was a very traumatic experience for both of us that could have been avoided with more transparency and gentleness."
