"the worst obgyn I ever been and im grateful to God she decided to retire because she shouldn't be woking with woman at all, Dr Huynh was so unprofessional and disrespectful during my visit. my initial visit I came for a routine pap I waited almost 2 hours before I was ever seen for my appoinment. I waited in the room for a 1 hour an 45 minutes then I got dressed to ask how much longer it would take before being seen and Huynh caught a attitude as if I was being impatient. she told me to go back in the room and I would be next, as I was changing back into my gown she walked right in without knocking or acknowledging who she was. she left out and came back in and rushed doing my pap it she wasn't welcoming at all and this is the first dr office I been to since living in houston. fast forward she calls me a at 9 pm at night with my results explaining I need to come in asap my pap was abnormal. I began to ask questions and she said she didnt have time to answer I would need to schedule another appt . Who calls someone at 9pm with test result and expect the patient to not ask questions . she said that should show she's a hard worker because she's still working at 9pm. when the truth was she was under staffed she didnt have a front desk rep or nurse to call and make these calls during business hours so she was stuck doing it. when I came in she went over what was goin on and said I needed to do a procedure asap . I asked her would she be able to do it since she made it seem so urgent, she said she didnt want to because I remind her of going on a first date with someone that just doesn't fit her . I said what ? she's like you know how you go on a first date and it just doesn't work out that's how I feel about you .. ( me ) . so praise God she's hopefully retired because you can tell she hates her job. I never been treated like that or have a dr describe me in that way ever"

"I have never written a review before but I felt compelled to do so to protect women who may be going through what happened to me. I was having very heavy flow during my menstrual cycles so Much that I developed anemia. After being diagnosed with fibroids I was told by Dr. Huynh that I had to have a hysterectomy done. Luckily my intuition told me to sit with the information and do my own research. She continued to try to convince me that I needed to hurry up and schedule my hysterectomy and even had the nurse call me to ask me when I would be scheduling it. After much consulting I found Houston Fibroids who assured me that a hysterectomy was unnecessary and that they could perform a procedure where they could cut the blood circulating to the fibroids which allows them to shrink and seize to grow. They didn’t have to cut me open. They went in through my vein located on my wrist to get to the fibroids. My quality of life has dramatically improved since! I have never been happier. I am so happy with my results and I am so greatful that I paid attention to my instincts. I find it highly irresponsible and unethical that this doctor would not share alternative options with me and that her recommendation was based merely on the fact that it is based on where her expertise lie. Isn’t her first duty patient care, Whether or not it results in her getting a paycheck for a surgery? I hope my case is isolated but honestly I don’t think it is. How many women have been mutilated all because this doctor doesn’t take the time and effort to educate herself on new alternatives. It has really weighed heavy on me and I want to warn all women experiencing these symptoms please get a second opinion and do your own research!!!"

"My first time meeting Dr. Jeanie was very good. The staff was very professional. Front desk was excellent and the medical assistant so sweet. Dr. Jeanie was very caring and explained very well and answered all your questions. Totally love her. I would honestly recommend her and ignore the bad reviews."

"Dr. Huynh was amazing! I do not know where to start with my amazing experience with this office. I’ll start with the lady at the front desk / nurse, she was very friendly and kind throughout the whole check in and rooming process. This was my first time ever doing my well woman exam / pap, so she took her time explaining the preparation process, getting my vitals, etc. Dr. Huynh was the same! She went through everything and explained everything to me perfectly- for this being my first appointment for my well woman I almost did not have to ask any questions as she addressed everything perfectly. My results were posted to my portal in a timely manner a few days after my appointment with notes attached to them explaining them. I was very nervous prior to this appointment and I had to make a far drive from Brookshire, but I left with no regrets. This staff and doctor are great and made me feel comfortable throughout my visit, I look forward to returning for any needed follow ups and exams. I highly recommend her for anyone"

"I don’t know where the bad reviews are coming from. Well I believe most patients experience depends on their own attitude towards doc or staff. I had a very GREAT experience with Dr Huynh. We would talk about family, laugh and it was great up until I had my baby. I love how she called me ‘my dear.’ She’s very sweet and I would recommend her!"
