"It absolutely blows my mind how this school is low rated on some sites. My children who were in K and 2nd grade had to transfer to Tom Green from a great elementary school they were attending in Louisiana. I was so nervous for them that starting a new school so late in the year (February) they wouldn't adapt well. The bar had already been set high by their Louisiana school which was an A+ rated school. So we were stunned when they absolutely fell in love with Tom Green. I've never seen them so excited to go to school in the morning and so bored on the weekend begging to go to school. They just loved it. We are now going back home to Louisiana and, when I asked the kids what they will miss about Austin, the only thing they ever say is "Tom Green." Thank you to the school staff for creating such a welcoming and fun place for my children."
