"I've been going to Dr. Wood loyally for almost 13 years. She and the staff have always been wonderful until recently. I noticed turnover in staff, less patience from the current staff, and appointments being rushed through. But I chalked it up to just transition and a lot going on; allowing for grace. I then became pregnant and shared I'd like a natural birth, which I was informed she doesn't do. Well in the meantime and following, I still had a sono appt scheduled that went totally different than most. Dr. Wood was short and didn't allow me to ask many questions I had, etc. (Further confirming my decision for a natural birth and midwife where moms are given more time, care, and attention during visits). I found the perfect birthing center and transferred care for the pregnancy after first trying to keep both Dr Wood and the midwife. She doesn't do co-care or whatever it's called. I have now had an absolutely wonderful birthing experience and wanted to return to my OB that I've liked all these years. I was told that they would not be seeing me and no longer will accept my care because I transferred my birthing care out. I asked how that meant I personally could no longer be a patient for postpartum, regular women's matters, etc., and I was just told that it is the doctors choice to no longer see me. Pretty F'd up in my opinion! Obviously the my decision to do what was best for my first baby and myself was taken personally by Dr. Wood! Why when I've always come to her, I don't know but it's a poor unprofessional decision and deserves for others to know how she and her office operates! I'll go nowhere I'm not accepted as I deserve better! Bye Generations (gladly)!!!"

"I have been going to Dr. Beverly Wood for 22 years and I could not be happier with her and her office! If you are looking for a doctor you can stay with for life then look no further! From maternity and beyond know that you are always going to be in good hands. This is the doctor you should choose. I promise you won't regret it. I know I haven't! Staff is great, no long waits and extremely thorough!"

"It seemed like she cared at first but my monthly visits because of recurring infections was very obviously getting annoying for her and the staff. She never seemed to listen to my problems or actually answer any of my questions. I was just prescribed something I made known I was allergic too and something completely unrelated to the issue I’m having so this will be my last visit"

"After being a patient for thirty (30) years, I recently asked the staff if my being treated carelessly is because I am now on Medicare. "Of course not," I was told. Yet, I received notice that Dr. Wood (Generations Obstetrics) is opting out of Medicare and all Medicare Advantage Network Plans and any Medicare products. The letter is dated July 1, 2023. I received it on August 11, 2023. I've been given very little notice. I am 71 years old. Is this Age Discrimination?"

"I trust this woman with my life. I had preeclampsia with both of my children. That being said, she doesn’t play games when it comes to safety. She tells you exactly how it is, and she doesn’t sugar coat things. If you like that in a doctor, you will love her."
