"Would not recommend…two women braided my hair. One was extremely slow and the other braided my hair in the front the braids were different sizes. And I also noticed the braids on top were neater than the ones underneath. Honestly I know a kitchen hairdresser would have done better. Yes they say you have up to five days to complain but who wants to come back after sitting for hours."

"I've been going to see Nathalie for the last 15 years for my sew ins. She's always done a great job and she's very fast with her braiding! From start to finish, it only takes about an hour and a half to 2 hours to braid and sew in my hair. The shop has a small little store filled with hair care products located in the front, and the back is where the salon is. The front door to the shop is locked at all times for safety reasons, which is reassuring. Aesthetically, the shop is bare bones, but it's not my main concern. If it's yours, you might want to reconsider. Honestly, I'd rather go to a place that has a couch with a few styling chairs that does a great job, than a place with neon lights, decorative pillows, and a Keurig with the works that does a mediocre job. The only reason I give her 4 stars instead of 5 is due to her not honoring a valid coupon from her website, (it's not like I was saving a ton of money; it was more of the principle. I was more disappointed that I was a loyal customer for so long and the coupon wasn't expired or anything, so why not accept it?) and there isn't much for entertainment to help pass the time so make sure your phone is fully charged, you bring a tablet or bring a book!"
