"I was really hopeful this would be my new go to nail salon since it’s so close to my house. Unfortunately, my no chip lasted only a week. I could tell when he was doing my nails that it was not going to last because he did not prep correctly. He had to redo a couple nails because the oils still on my nails were not allowing them to be cured. Will not be returning."

"I’d been a regular customer for 5 years with very few incidents. Helen did my pedicures and was always great and very personable. Kelly however is part owner and always serviced my nails. I’d always gotten the vibe that there was an issue on her part with me. As well as her husband Tony. Unsure as to why as I was a regular and had no run ins with anyone. I always tipped her for her service even. For years I’d stupidly accepted her coldness when I would sit in her chair. Never a response to my “good morning/afternoon, hey how are you” nothing. The final straw was when I was called directly by the current salon manager to let me know that “Kelly don’t want to do your nails anymore. It’s not like that, you can still come and if she has time she will do you”. Again, stupidly, I returned. Only to be told (while she was still present and servicing no one) that Kelly would not be doing my nails. What got me (again) is that she was RIGHT THERE and could’ve opened her mouth to tell me directly. As I was finishing up and paying, the same mgr said that he wanted to step outside with me. Again, he comes out and tells me moving forward book anyone for my nails BUT Kelly. If she has time, she will service me, but don’t book her. It’s not a race thing, because I’ve watched her converse and laugh it up with other black women. Young, old, ghetto as all hell, to conservative. I will miss Helen dearly, but I will NEVER visit this salon again."
